The Hawke XB30 Pro 1-5x24 SR SFP IR Crossbow Scope is one of the best crossbow scopes available today. Built specifically to withstand the demands and forces placed on a scope by a crossbow, it uses 16 layer fully multi-coated lenses to yield clear views with a wide field of view and 3" eye relief. The reticle aids with sighting even in challenging conditions because it has a dial that enables multiple levels of red illumination.
This scope has a 24mm objective lens and a 30mm aluminum mono-tube, in addition to capped low-profile resettable turrets that adjust for elevation and windage in a range of 210 MOA, with 1/2 MOA click increments. The unique vari-speed technology ring allows the user to calibrate the scope based on the speed of the bow, from 215 FPS to 450 FPS, giving magnification and 10-yard aim points to 100 yards that are customized to the crossbow.
The lenses are fog proof, waterproof, shockproof, and nitrogen purged, so they will continue to provide an outstanding sight picture despite poor weather or lighting.
The second focal plane (SFP) reticle includes 5 crosses laid out vertically that represent 2" across at 10 yard interval distances, starting at 20 yards and ending at 60, with floating rangefinding bars providing aim points every 10 yards from 70 to 100 yards. There are 4" and 8" bracketing marks on the 20-yard horizontal line, in addition to further 4" bracketing dots down to the 60-yard mark.
