Description
Make an impression at your next skirmish with this officially licensed Springfield Armory M1 Carbine airsoft rifle.
This is a faithful replica of the iconic firearm that saw service with U.S. troops and allies in World War II through the Vietnam War and beyond. It's a semi-automatic carbine that features a realistic, gas-blowback action. Every time the trigger is pulled, the gun discharges the 6mm BB in the chamber, the bolt slides back and the next round is seated in the breech, ready to go - just like the original.
The Air Venturi Springfield Armory M1 Carbine airsoft replica is powered by a single 12-gram CO2 cartridge and gets about 60 shots per cartridge. It even weighs about as much as the powder-burner version - just over 5 ½ pounds - and achieves muzzle velocities of up to 470 FPS using .2-gram airsoft BBs. It incorporates a metal upper receiver into a synthetic, wood-look stock, with a genuine wood-stock upgrade available.
Whether you’re a fan of historically significant firearms and want to bring that flavor into your airsoft game or have shot - or own - the original firearm and want an affordable facsimile for at-home target practice, this is the airsoft gun you’ve been waiting for.

5 of 5 Springfield Armory M1 Carbine Airsoft Reviews
Wood and metal feels well built
Things I Would Have ChangedThe price It is overpriced by about $50 for the wood stocked one
What Others Should KnowI have only shot one type of ammo a .20g And it isn't anywhere near what would be considered accurate. At 5 yards only 5 shots out of a whole magazine hit a shoe box surprisingly one of them hit the black circle drawn on the box. It might work better with a different weight ammo
Accurate reproduction, fun to shoot
Things I Would Have Changed'Magazine latch problem. Fix by filing top of nibs located on mag until the mag easily latches into mag well. Careful not to take too much off
Close replica of real firearm. Great weight and balance. Fake wood looks real. Very accurate, at least indoors.
Things I Would Have ChangedMag is hard to insert, until you learn to slam it into the mag well with some force. Mag already shows some wear.
What Others Should KnowGetting 45-50 rounds per CO2 cartridge.
Ton of fun to shoot.
Never had an airsoft Gun before. More power, good range and accuracy. Shooting with wind not so good but expected.
Things I Would Have ChangedPrice is kinda high.

great model of the M1 carbine (I currently have the faux wood stock) the mag is capped at 15 rounds like the real thing and it seems like it should be easy to make it 30 rounds
Things I Would Have Changedan npas valve would be nice because 470 fps is way too hot for most fields in my area. I found a valve on evike and am currently waiting for it to ship.
