The Umarex ReadyAir Portable Compressor takes the hassle and stress out of using a compressor to fill an airgun. With the ability to use either 110V or 12V power sources and a digital control that automatically stops filling when the set pressure is reached, this is an incredibly convenient and worry-free airgun compressor.
Due to the fact that the ReadyAir can use 12V power, it can be hooked up to a car battery with the included cable, meaning it can replace bottles and hand pumps even in the field. Because the design doesn't use oil or any type of liquid cooling, it requires virtually no maintenance. With a maximum fill pressure of 4,500 PSI, it can easily fill the newest high-pressure PCP air rifles and air pistols.
In addition to the auto-stop when the set pressure is reached, this compressor features an overheat protection auto power-off, as well as 40 amp overload protection. What others should know:This is a really great Compressor have had mine for over a year and have yet to rebuild it. The fan does NOT turn off when you shut the compressor off until it gets under the 90 something degree temperature. When mine gets to about 100, I just unplug it and plug it back in. By doing that, the fan will shut off and plugging it back in will not start the fan back up until it gets over 100 something degrees again. It just takes a second to do as plugging it back in even when the fan is still winding down will NOT reactivate the fan if it is under 100 degrees. You would think after getting 2 with the exact same problem, the person would figure out it isn't a problem at all but is by design. I got mine before Air Venturi had theirs out and it was one of the least expensive dual power compressors on the market. I store it in a cool closet and clean the air filter regularly and that is all I needed to do in nearly 2 years. It actually fills quicker now than when I 1st got it.
