they will not work on a combo dovetail/picaniny rail such as on the maurader or hatsan.

Needed a set of rings strong enough to hold a heavy ( about 27oz.) scope on a LGU .22 Cal. Had trouble with two bolt caps, these did the trick and the scope no longer moves. They are heavy and large, but they work. They also seem to hold the zero when removed and reinstalled, although that was not my reason for buying them.

Easy on - easy off. I bought these for a takedown Ruger .22LR and the barrel with scope does not fit in the case. These rings make it easy to pop the scope off for storage and back on when the gun is assembled. I shot several 10 shot groups, removing and replacing the scope after each 2 or 3 shots. No appreciable change in point of impact at 50 yds.

Nothing so far. I followed the directions for adjusting the levers for firm but not heavy closing and they work like a charm. I have no idea how they would hold up on a really heavy recoiling gun, but for my .22, they seem perfect.

Heft, heavy well made product for the $$$. Quick detach levers make easy on/off scope without tools. Haven't tried it on any magnum recoil springers yet, but holds well enough on my gas rifles.

Mount is solid... Like the Quick Detach feature... Easy to use and install... Came with all the tools necessary and a couple of spare parts- very thoughtful...

The amount of adjustment on the Quick Detach was very limited... You are turning a very small screw with a hex key...

Be VERY careful when you are adjusting tension on the Quick Detach... The small screw will fall out without warning...

These are now the only scope mounting rings I use on any of my Air Rifles and Live Fire Rifles. Once you have them set correctly, secured correctly and adjusted to your scope, there is nothing left to do but to lock them in place and sight in your rifle. The QUICK UNLATCH System lets you quickly switch scopes between rifles, or just remove them for storage, or to use your fixed sites. I myself have found them to be 2nd to none.

Great for quick changing scopes between rifles or just for storage and cleaning of your Air Gun. NO SCOPE SHIFT with these rings.

These rings are beefy and feel very solid. I have not yet tried the quick-release feature to mount the scope on another gun, but the cam/clips seem to hold securely.

Although this seems like a simple piece of equipment, there should be instructions or a sketch to show ALL the tightening screws - AND SPARE PARTS!

There are small hex-screws inside the cams to lock them in place after the correct tightening width has been established. CAUTION: If these screws are NOT tightened, they will loosen and get lost while shooting - and the kit includes NO spare parts! When I lost one off my deck, I didn't know what it was until I found it by dragging a strong magnet through the grass. Spare parts would be nice!

Very sturdy; positive clamp force; keeps scope true.

The allen screw in the clamps will back out as well unless you loc-tite them.

1. Stoutly built - a plus for my pellet spring airgun (which is known to wear the rails, rings and scope internals). 2. Fast and accurate attach/detach with minimal effort and adjustment. 3. A Snipers delight!

Machine a keyway across the bottom to lock with the Piccany Rail. This would provide a more positive approach to lock the rings and rail and prevent the eventual 'wear' that all sighting parts get with the great shock loading of spring airguns.

Pay close attention to the INSTRUCTIONS that describe the crisscross bolt tighting pattern AND DON'T OVERTIGHTEN THE ALLEN SCREWS (15 inch Lbs)! (for the paleoneandertal decendents amongst us).
