Benjmain Traveler 4500 PSI Portable Compressor :
Say goodbye to stops at the SCUBA shop and to slaving over manual air pumps to refill your pre-charged pneumatic airgun cylinders. Get your air on demand with the Benjamin Traveler portable PCP compressor - wherever and whenever you need a refill.
The Traveler is capable of filling airgun cylinders less than 0.6 liters (600cc) to a maximum 4,500 psi and uses a direct connection to a 12-volt battery or the included 110 volt converter for use with wall outlets. The Traveler features automatic pressure shut-off (stops at a specified pressure), temperature protection and low-battery protection.
Aptly named, the Benjamin Traveler by Crosman can easily accompany airgunners wherever they need a constant, reliable air source to fuel their hunting, plinking or target-practice needs.

Things I liked: Name brand you know. Although made in China, backed by PA and Crosman. Compact size of compressor unit. I have a Nomad II also and at first I thought the all-in-one design was better than this design. But after using both, this is a smaller package if you decide to use it in the field from a 12v car battery. Comes with 10 inline filter replacements, spare o-rings. Easy to operate and works well.
Things I would have changed: The PSI numbers on gauge are hard to see as they are printed on the outer edge and partially hidden. BAR readings are fine though. More detailed instructions including troubleshooting error codes. Longer filling hose.
What others should know: The included a/c converter was set to 220v from the factory so when run for the first time it shut off when it started to build pressure and an error code "E2" displayed. Make sure the voltage setting is on 110v. It's on the converter not the unit. This unit states no lubrication necessary unlike the Nomad II. Doesn't have an external inline fuse like the Nomad II. The a/c converter is separate so if needed it's easier to change. Doesn't have a moisture drain so the inline water filter should be checked often. If I had to choose one, I'd buy the Benjamin Traveler as they work similarly and the Benjamin cost is less.
Things I liked: Nothing.
Things I would have changed: It didn't work out of the box. Compressor would not turn on.
What others should know: Hopefully, I got a bad unit, but this is the second compressor I have purchased that does not work (another kind form another company also didn't fill guns).
Things I liked: Ive only filled my Armada maybe 20-25 times now with about 5 times going from 0 to 3000psi just to test it out. its been great unit so far, definitly beats using a hand pump, and if you only go from 2000psi to 3000psi its still plenty fast, I didnt time it but I would guess less then 3 minutes. Plus they give you all the parts for a rebuild and atleast 10 filters for the fill hose.
Things I would have changed: It would be nice if the inverter to run on ac power was built into it so I dont have a mess of cords to deal with, but I usually end up running it on 12v power so not too big of a deal breaker yet. The filter housing does its job I suppose but I would like to see a better setup for moisture control. After each day of use you have to take the housing apart (which is very simple with no tools) and either remove the element or just leave the housing apart to let the moisture/filter sponge dry out.

Where can i find a female/female connection to connect the Benjamin compressor hose to a Gamo, or Hatsan 1/8 probe threads. Can anyone suggest a site or Adapter. Thank you
I am a ham radio operator and have multiple 13.8VDC (that is the fully charged car battery voltage) supplies rated at 25+ AMPS DC. What is the current draw (maximum) of the Benjamin Traveler 4500 PSI pump? I see no manual that is available for this item. Thank you for your time.
Will Benjamin traveler fill the Hatsan Hercules
It could yes but I would not recommend it the tank on the Hercules rather big and moister may get into it. If you do fill it with this unit do it in like 5-8 min intervals.
