Description
Not to be left out of the battle for supremacy in the entry level PCP market, Air Venturi brings us the Avenger! The Avenger comes prepared to answer the wide variety of requirements that shooters demand at an affordable price point. Filling a void in the market for a lightweight, highly adjustable and extremely capable rifle without spending an arm and a leg.
Weighing in at just over 6 lbs without a scope, the Avenger is manueverable for a walk in the woods and thanks to two well positioned mounting points for swivel studs, can be carried with ease! Mounting a scope to the rifle is easy thanks to a unique 11mm dovetail/weaver combo rail, meaning most mounts will fit. You'll also find a picatinny rail section on the fore-end of the stock for mounting accessories like bipods, lights and lasers.
The heart of the Avenger can be found in the externally adjustable regulator. Working in tandem with the adjustable hammer spring, the user can fine tune the performance of their rifle to best suit their needs. Never before has this kind of tuning potential been available at such a budget friendly price! The regulator can be adjusted as high as 3000 PSI, and you can track your adjustments via the reg pressure gauge on the right hand side of the action. Increasing the reg pressure can be done at any time, though decreasing the pressure requires the gun to be degassed first. This is easily done thanks to an easy access degassing screw found just behind the reg adjustment.
Beyond the adjustments, the Avenger features a smooth sidelever action that seamlessly cycles the auto indexing magazines. And it comes with two magazines so you can always have more rounds ready to go! The trigger is two stage and adjustable to your liking. Filling the rifle is also a breeze, thanks to the male quick disconnect fitting on the end of the air cylinder. This is covered by a threaded dust cap, which not only keeps dust and debris out of your fittings, but also gives the rifle a unique appearance.
So long are the days of having to spend top dollar to get a PCP rifle that you can easily adjust and tune as you please. Whether you're a tuner, modder, or you're just looking for a budget-friendly PCP to do some shooting with, the Air Venturi Avenger should be at the top of your list!

I just love it. The most enjoyment I have had in shooting and the gun is very accurate. At 50 yards with Diablo heavy pellets I can keep in a 1 inch. Group all day long
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowYou just can not go wrong with this gun
Very accurate, low cost, very adjustable, great trigger, ect.,etc.
Things I Would Have ChangedI cannot think of a thing.
What Others Should KnowThis is my second Avenger. The first one was my favorite air rifle out of the 5-6 others that I have. I made the mistake of having it in a soft case lying on the back seat of my truck and forgetting it for a couple of months last winter. Unfortunately it got various items placed upon it and when I finally got it out it had lost its air. It would no longer hold air. Hopefully I can get it fixed but in the meantime I have a new one to take its place.
Way more gun than you would expect for the money. Charged it up, slapped a scope on it I took off my Stormrider, took one magazine to get it zeroed. Shooting five shots in a half inch bullseye at fift yards straight out of the box with Crosman Premier Roundnose. No louder than my Stormrider. The side lever is so much nicer than a standard bolt action. I shot three magazines my first go, barely moved the pressure gauge. I don't have a chrono, but each shot was dead on in elevation, proving that pressure and velocity were consistent. I got the synthetic stock version for money reasons, but I'm quite pleased with it so far. The gun feels heavy when you pick it up but it balances well in a shooting position. I can't wait to get to spend some time with it to fine tune it and do some hundred yard shots.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing.
What Others Should KnowCame double boxed in a very secure formed box. Also got it in two days. Way to go Pyramyd Air!!!
mounted on a tactical stock with barrel stiffening donuts makes this rascal SUPER accurate. the weak part of this dude is the hammer spring adjustment setup. mine keeps backing out after 30 to 40 rds. i've got 4000 rds thru mine and only changed one o-ring! keep the pellet probe o-rings oiled.
Almost everything. The power, the shot count,(43) with the pro tune! The value for price is another huge plus. And accuracy? Just wow! Took me 3 of my first magazine to punch bulls eyes at 30 yards. Loving this .25 caliber beast. The trash pandas and armadillos don't stand a chance now.
Things I Would Have ChangedI really don't have any dislikes. If I was gonna pic nits, it might be the hollow stock, but, to me it feels great and shoulders perfectly. A friend with one told me he put a shop towel inside his stock, and it made the hollow sound go away! I did the same. And it works perfectly.
What Others Should KnowIf you don't already have an electric compressor, BUY ONE! Even a cheapie, even with an excellent hand pump, this ain't a 3622. It hold a little more air, and if your old like.me, you will give yourself a heart attack before you fill it up.
Great price, completely tunable, lots of upgrades available, great entry level gun and beyond
Things I Would Have ChangedThe plastic stock is a big problem that I will discuss more below. This is available in a wood stock version for about $70 more and it is worth going with that gun. If you just shoot from a bench and don't mind zeroing your scope each time you shoot the plastic stock is okay. But if you hunt and bump the gun and use bipods go with the wood stock - it is worth it.
What Others Should KnowWhen you install bipods on the front picatinny you run the risk of moving your point of impact left or right...sometimes by several inches. This was very frustrating since we use this gun for hunting rabbits. I ended up shaving the forearm piece to completely float the air tank (which is connected to the barrel shroud by a band). I also disconnected the front picatinny rail that links the bipods to the barrel band. By doing this I isolated the bipods and the forearm piece from the barrel shroud. I could now deploy my bipods and fold them up; I could bump the bipods and it would not affect or torque the barrel shroud. By doing all this I pretty much eliminated the left and right point of impact shift I was seeing each new shooting day. I then purchased the wood stock and just installed that. I have not shot the gun yet, but it is much more solid and I believe this is the way to go with the Avenger. Buy the wood stock version and you will have an incredible gun.

What Others Should KnowThis is my first air powered gun. It fits my budget, easy to carry, it is accurate! I ordered the.25 cal. with a scope. There's a man here in East Texas taking ferral pigs with the same gun. 100 pounds and under at 50yds. This gun is fun to shoot!
What's not to like? This is a very good rifle. Not just an air rifle. Right out of the box it's great. I own two now. i've had differant brands that I've given away. This one is a winner. For unwanted bears, coyotes, ground squarrels, name it. One .25 cal pellet and they're gone.
