Air Venturi Avenger, Regulated PCP Air Rifle
Not to be left out of the battle for supremacy in the entry level PCP market, Air Venturi brings us the Avenger! The Avenger comes prepared to answer the wide variety of requirements that shooters demand at an affordable price point. Filling a void in the market for a lightweight, highly adjustable and extremely capable rifle without spending an arm and a leg.
Weighing in at just over 6 lbs without a scope, the Avenger is manueverable for a walk in the woods and thanks to two well positioned mounting points for swivel studs, can be carried with ease! Mounting a scope to the rifle is easy thanks to a unique 11mm dovetail/weaver combo rail, meaning most mounts will fit. You'll also find a picatinny rail section on the fore-end of the stock for mounting accessories like bipods, lights and lasers.
The heart of the Avenger can be found in the externally adjustable regulator. Working in tandem with the adjustable hammer spring, the user can fine tune the performance of their rifle to best suit their needs. Never before has this kind of tuning potential been available at such a budget friendly price! The regulator can be adjusted as high as 3000 PSI, and you can track your adjustments via the reg pressure gauge on the right hand side of the action. Increasing the reg pressure can be done at any time, though decreasing the pressure requires the gun to be degassed first. This is easily done thanks to an easy access degassing screw found just behind the reg adjustment.
Beyond the adjustments, the Avenger features a smooth sidelever action that seamlessly cycles the auto indexing magazines. And it comes with two magazines so you can always have more rounds ready to go! The trigger is two stage and adjustable to your liking. Filling the rifle is also a breeze, thanks to the male quick disconnect fitting on the end of the air cylinder. This is covered by a threaded dust cap, which not only keeps dust and debris out of your fittings, but also gives the rifle a unique appearance.
So long are the days of having to spend top dollar to get a PCP rifle that you can easily adjust and tune as you please. Whether you're a tuner, modder, or you're just looking for a budget-friendly PCP to do some shooting with, the Air Venturi Avenger should be at the top of your list!

Thanks a lot working so great hits hard and i did 5 mags one hole on each mags doing it fast too just love it i dont need any other airguns if i got this the first time accuracy is on pinpointThings I would have changed:
Nothing really maybe 1 liter air tank lolWhat others should know:
Best for beginners and proffessionals who shoots 3,000 $ toys will like this i have it tetered on tank and finish a tin can of jsb 25.39 350 piesces in 3 hours i got it need more pellets huhuhu
This rifle is very accurate, chocking is smooth and easy, of all my air guns this is the most fun to shoot.Things I would have changed:
The StockWhat others should know:
You will not be sorry you bought it.
Extremely accurate! I wasn't expecting this kind of accuracy from a gun at this price point. Not pellet finicky at all. It shot 7 out 9 types of ammo I tried very accurately. Comes with a built-in suppressor of sorts. I would give it a 2.5 out of 5 for quietness. I did buy a Donny FL threaded adapter & 0dB 110c suppressor for it and it quieted it down to a 1 out of 5 for comparison. Feels like a real rifle, or maybe a O&U 20ga shotgun. The trigger is good for a gun in this price range. It is not a competition trigger, but it is definitely better than a lot of triggers I have tried out. It breaks at 2.25lbs which is fine for hunting which is what I do. The gun seems very weather resistant as all parts are anodized/painted or plastic. I do use it in the wet mist/rain while hunting rabbits and pests and it does get wet. It cleans up easily. A wooden stock might warp here, although I do like the wooden version, I have the plastic one.Things I would have changed:
Plastic Stock is flimsy. If rain isn't an issue for $70 more a wooden option is available but may warp in the wet. Would be nice to see an Over-mold version, maybe an aftermarket "Hogue" style stock. Older reviews state the trigger is metal but mine is plastic. I would prefer the metal one. The trigger is a bit sloppy too and there is no way to tighten it. But it is not bad, just not a competition trigger. Reg. Creep: Mine had 600psi creep (40fps POI shift) before I cleaned up the regulator and cleaned out the port it sits in. Now it only has a 200psi creep (15fps POI shift). A built-in threaded adapter for a suppressor and built-in barrel stabilizer like the Donny FL threaded adapter would be great. This gun does not like to have the barrel floated. Pellet mags are cheaply made. I got 2 flyers in 10 with the mags. only 1 in 20 from the single shot tray. I ordered 2 CARM mags and now get the same results as the single shot tray. What others should know:
Using JSBHades 22 the accuracy out of the box was avg=0.41" @25yrd. My final Reg. and H.S. setting are: Reg. @ 2000psi; H.S. @ 1.25 turn; Pellet Velocity = 904fps; Shot count 4000psi-2000psi = 79 shots. After tuning, adjusting, adding accessories and 500+ shots later the accuracy results are: Now avg=0.26 (Best accuracy = 0.21) [Pictures posted] This gun is barrel heavy. Pull the Styrofoam in the but of the stock and fill it with packed Barley. It adds a 1.5lbs and it balanced out nicely and reduces the harmonics. I Use a 40yrd zero w/ a 3-12x 44mm Minute of Angle cross-hair scope at 2 to the bore. This gives a 14yrd to 44yrd +/- 0.3 vital zone. I definitely recommend this gun. It has its limitations, but for the money I believe they are acceptable. I wouldn't call it a knock around gun, while well built, it doesn't seem like it can take a lot of abuse. But I wouldn't knock around an Impact either. Just treat it with respect and it should give plenty of fun down range.
Got a question or answer?
Does the wood stock version get extra care / attention at the factory ? Do they perform the same other than the stock difference?
max shots (roughly- just need a ballpark figure) for the .22 on eco tune? Mid power tune?
I get an honest 70 shots (7 magazines) using the 1400psi regulated pressure spec'ed in the Eco Tune, if I start at max unregulated pressure of 300 bar. There is pressure in the green zone left over, too, but not much. The now famous AEAC video review said something like 120 shots, but in actual practice, I don't see how, unless he made ungodly internal mods/tuning ... Mid power - sorry - haven't got a clue.
how accurate is the 177? Will it shoot accurately the Crosman pointed?
In my opinion i wouldn't expect much from any pointed pellet. I know that statement stir controversy, but if you want accuracy go with a good quality brand of pellet like JSB or H&N.
