The Air Venturi Avenger Regulated PCP Air Rifle with Green Mountain Camo Laminate stock is still the answer to the call for an incredibly flexible and accurate entry level PCP, now with a handsome Green Laminate stock. Airgunners demanded a high-value air rifle capable of performing a number of different tasks, and Air Venturi put all of those features in a single, affordable package with the Avenger.
The updated Laminate stock lends this air rifle a solid feel and additional weight and it still features two mounting holes for sling swivel studs for ease of use in the forest or field.
What makes this air rifle so different, particularly at this low price point, is its superior adjustability. It features an externally adjustable regulator and hammer spring to enable a wide range of tuning possibilities.
The regulator has a maximum pressure of 3000 PSI, and a high-power, high-pressure setup works well for those with a high-pressure compressor, while a lower-pressure, lower-power setup might work better for those with a hand pump. With a regulator pressure gauge on the right side and a fill pressure gauge on the left side, this air rifle lets shooters easily monitor and adjust the airgun to best suit their specific needs at different times.
In addition to flexibility, this air rifle also includes a smooth sidelever to easily cycle the auto-indexing magazines, two of which are included to maximize shooting time and minimize reloading time. The two-stage trigger adjusts to yield a clean and light break, and the air cylinder features a male quick-disconnect fitting on the end protected by a threaded dust cap to allow easy fills and protect it from dirt and dust while enhancing the air rifle's looks.
The air rifle will accept a variety of scope mounts because it has a convenient 11mm dovetail and Weaver combination optics rail. In addition, it includes an upgraded metal Picatinny accessory rail on the fore-end to add accessories such as laser, lights, and bipods.

Already owned an Air Venturi Avenger with a wood stock -- outstanding pellet rifle!! When this one with the beautiful laminated stock was offered for $100.00 less...I jumped on the deal. The stock is absolutely beautiful, and the rest of the rifle is identical to the Avenger I already owned; however, the laminated stock adds another half pound to the overall weight. The extra weight affords better handling, and control to my style of shooting. Installed a scope, sighted it in at 50 yards with only 8 rounds...and "voila" another powerful, accurate, tack driving rifle out to 100 yards.. Totally pleased with the rifle, and the Pyramyd AIR service.
Things I would have changed:Nothing, not a single thing!!

Couldn't pass on buying another Avenger...yeah, the Green Mountain Camo stock caught my eye;-). This rifle is another tack driver, just just like my other Avenger. After mounting a scope, sighting the rifle in...an promptly put 10 pellets through a single 1/4" hole at 55 yards. Excellent quality, beautiful rifle, and first rate service from Pyramyd Air.

This is my first regulated PCP and it does not disappoint. I love the stock, it is simply beautiful, as well as comfortable. I love the rail on the fore end of the stock for mounting bipods and accessories. The adjustable trigger feels great. The gauges are well positioned and easily read, with some magnification, my eyes are old too so. Tuning the gun is a breeze as I have had to learn how to do with relative ease. I like the complementary accessories that are available to enhance the experience. The shot count is great @ 1400PSI and 1.25 in on the hammer spring. Easily forty shots in a nice small group on a 2800PSI fill before I need to start holding over a bit. All in all, this one has been a very satisfactory purchase.
Things I would have changed:I would change a few things on this rifle out of the box. I would make the barrel capable of threading on a moderator. I would lose the cast upper rails for nicer CNC aluminum rails without the 11mm dovetail combo as I had some slight issues with scope rings and mounting a scope. Nothing that would prevent you from landing shots accurately, but the rails could be much better for very little.
What others should know:Clean the barrel well straight out of the box. Shoot at least 500 pellets and break the gun in. Get really acquainted with this rifle, learn to tune it, learn it's eccentricities and it will work well for you.
