Barra 400E Polymer BB Rifle

Jams all the time. Not well made. Should be reliable for the price

The Best BB Gun Ever! Sights are not great. Easily remedied with spare parts I had (red dot).

I’ve been using my Barra air gun for a while now, and I have to say, it’s been a solid performer across the board. Right out of the box, the build quality impressed me—it has a sturdy, well-balanced feel without being too heavy. The design is sleek and functional, giving it a professional look that’s rare in this price range. Accuracy is where the Barra really shines. Whether I’m plinking in the backyard or doing some light target practice, the consistency and precision are spot on. It’s surprisingly powerful for an air gun, and the shot velocity is more than enough for its intended use. I also appreciate how easy it is to load and maintain. Overall, I’d highly recommend this air gun to anyone from beginners to experienced hobbyists. It’s reliable, well-built, and offers great performance at a fair price. Barra really did a great job with this one.

When I first began my research on the 400e, it seemed that the biggest issue was the BB feed jamming. However, I soon realized that it was largely a function of BBs that weren't consistently shaped/round. Still I was hesitant but then the Gen2 came along and the BB filter eased my mind that jams beyond the magazine could likely be cleared w/o having to send the gun back in. This gun is so fun! Makes it fun to shoot again just to see how they would break apart from the automatic mode. Smile on my face the entire time!

Now having 100 BBs in the magazine and not 25 and not running out of CO2 in the middle of a shoot is wonderful.

My gun arrived day before yesterday and I almost have not set it down since. I ordered an extra battery right off the get cuz I had a feeling that's how it would be. This thing is a blast no pun, well actually pun intended

It is awesome not to constantly load co2 cartridges anymore electric rocks!

Over a 1000 rounds no problem. Fun fun, eats cans up. I was surprised how much power this has. Even destroyed a old thick coffee can like butter. I was not to sure about it but figured I would try it out. Most fun I have had with a bb gun. Very accurate as well.

Having a blast. Dead on it to 40yds. About a 5ft drop at 80yds but on full auto i am hitting and hearing a flurry of reports on target. Jammed a few times and the culprit was always my old bbs I was trying to burn up. I started swabbing the feed ramp every 1000rounds and only use your ammo and It has been flawless for about 6000 rounds now.

Wow!! I suppose I should elaborate. I opted for the Polymer version of the 400e, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The craftsmanship and quality is immediately noticeable. I think the rifle is perfectly balanced and feels great in my hands. The power and accuracy are amazing! Great job Barra!
