A design collaboration between custom knifemaker Andrew Demko and Lynn C. Thompson, the Espadas are available in two sizes to suit both the bold and the boldest of individuals! Despite their imposing size, they are expertly designed to fit comfortably and discreetly in your pocket. You'll soon forget that you are carrying such a large and impressive blade. Equipped with the patented Demko Thumb Plate, the Large and Extra Large Espadas can be snagged on your pocket, opening the knife as you draw it - and opening in the blink of an eye! The Espada's beautiful blades are made from Japanese AUS-10A stainless steel. Each Espada is equipped with the patented Tri-Ad locking mechanism, proven to have amazing shock resistance and strength. In their own notoriously brutal product testing, the XL Espada was not only capable of holding 600lbs of free hanging weight, but they even used it to support a hanging engine block!

This is without a doubt the most ridiculous knife I've ever bought but in the same breath it's also the most awesome one too! Quality and fit of this Tiger Tank of a knife is A1, I own many Cold Steel products and I love them all.

I preordered this knife and it was taking so long to get that I bought the s35vn version for while I waited. Well this one finally came and I like it nearly as much as my first one. I carry this knife as an edc for self defense. It is only in my pocket as a supplement or replacement of my firearm when I can’t carry. Yes it takes control of one pocket being the only thing that is in that pocket. And yes I have started buying pants based on carrying this knife. With the wrong pants the thumb plate can rub a whole in your leg or not catch the hem properly for deployment. For all my cutting needs I carry a smaller knife in the other pocket. Bought this one because it isn’t as shiny as the other and doesn’t draw as much attention riding in the pocket. The other one is more comfortable in the hand than this one but for twice as much money it should feel better. I like these enough that I have even bought them for good friends as gifts.
