I collect knives. I would compare this knife very favorably to Case knives on the ease of sharpening, carry options and overall looks. So let me say carry options: The blade, when closed, has no overhang to tear the pocket linings. I am 69 years old and this used to be a very important feature on a knife. I still think it is. This knife has enough options in handle material to interest both the collector and the hard core user. I work in a jail and although I enjoy a good looking knife I still use mine to cut handmade ropes that inmates make. I enjoy my collection, but I use them!
