Nice EDC size. Very sharp and nice grip. Easy to hold
I bought this as a edc to replace my aging ultralock (still going strong, but the clip is a little loose and I don't want to lose it) This one is a pretty nice knife, though I prefer the thickness of the ultralock, it just fit my hand better. length wise, it's almost identical. Hopefully I'll be using it for years to come.
I have been using Clold Steel for over 20 years I have my own cloection of them now ... I carry 4 in my pockets everyday as a truck driver you never know when you will need one out here...
This is a great knife. Nice weight, razor sharp & quality construction. My only insight, the handle could use a slightly more aggressive, grippy texture.
3” blade overall, but main cutting edge is only 2”. All the strength and great edge is much ado about nothing when it’s use is limited by such a short cutting edge. Maybe reverse tanto would help this knife’s utility?
A great and sharp EDC knife, been great for my every use. I work in irrigation and this knife is great for cutting hard plastic traps and for marking in wood/pvc. I would highly recommend this knife to anyone.
I have several Demko designs from Cold Steel and would easily after 40+ years of wasting money on other brands say Demko is up there with the likes of Pardue Emerson Collins and Viele . Best part is at Cold Steel's price point you'll use it as a knife not just pocket bling
I bought the Mini Recon 1 Tanto, about four years ago, and it has served me well. I've cut, sliced and diced almost everything that got in my way, was mailed to me or looked interesting to cut. Further, I took it with me, as part of my "conceal carry" arsenal. It held up, wonderfully, until the beginning of this year, when the rivets to the holding clip fell off. But, I not complaining. Then again, man, it's been 4 years of constant use and for personal protection. The rest of the blade and body is still intact and awesome as the day I got it. Love this knife. Pro's: The knife blade is a good quality Lightweight Thin Con's: Handle feels cheap Lock is older style and requires 2 hands, vs the newer style which can open and lock with 1 hand. Price is higher vs. a competitor that has a better quality
