The ASG CZ Shadow 2 CO2 BB Pistol is a striking replica airgun with a double action trigger that mirrors the style and features of the firearm version. Capable of velocities up to 285 FPS, it's well-suited to plinking and practice.
This full-metal BB pistol does a remarkable job of simulating the look and feel of the original, with a similar size and weight, and near-identical form. It features a metal body and anodized aluminum slide with deep serrations for a stable grip when racking.
A unique feature for a BB airgun is the adjustable hop up setting that allows accuracy at greater distances by preventing the BB from falling as fast as normal. In addition, it offers a fiber optic front sight and a windage and elevation adjustable rear sight, in addition to an under-muzzle accessory rail for adding things such as lights and lasers.
This air pistol showcases an eye-catching blue grip that has checkered sides and enhanced texturing on the front and back for a solid hold. Weight, size function all work like my REAL CZ, so prancing is now lest costly to keep skills up.

Solid Build, probably the heaviest BB Pistol I've handled at 2.7lbs. Everything on the exterior is perfect, it's almost an identical replica to the real firearm. It shoots slower, but the accuracy is there, and it makes for a great training pistol.
Things I would have changed:The loading of the magazines is difficult, there's no spring catch for loading and the load hole is so close to the spring lever it makes for difficult loading.
What others should know:It is now my favourite CO2 pistol. :)

What does it mean by "hop-up"?...that it can be adjusted to shoot faster, perhaps?
It means that it spins BBs upward so they travel a little farther and more accurately. Quite common in air soft guns, not so much in BB guns

High quality build, fantastic fit and finish. Fiber-optic front sight. Accuracy right out of the box, only needed to adjust elevation a smidge. All-metal, heavy, but not ridiculously so. Crisp blow-back. Well-built magazine with nice channel for BBs and easy to use with speed-loader, and no jamming! A pleasure to shoot, money well spent.
Things I would have changed:Rear sight -add white dots or fiber-optic would be icing on this CZ cake. Detailed Instructions. With everything that can be adjusted or modified quite an oversight, and a missed marketing opportunity, and would give a bit of support to the high price.. The rear sight can be adjusted for windage, trigger has a take-up screw, neither explained in manual. More choices of aluminum (or rubberized) grip panels as seen on airsoft versions. I did find the black Shadow 2 grips at another vendor, very handsome! The price (save up those Bullseye Bucks!). The most expensive pistol I own (so far!). It sparks much joy, most accurate smooth-bore (or possibly rifled barrel pistol) I own, but yikes at a cost LOL
What others should know:Rear sight is adjustable for both windage (hex bolts) and elevation (click-stop). Magazine release button can be re-positioned three ways (in manual). There is also a travel set screw in the trigger. Dennis Adler's Airgun Experience excellent articles on the Shadow 2 explain and illustrate all these adjustments, that's your manual for this pistol! The grip panels and magazines are fully interchangeable between the Shadow 2, the Shadow SP-01, and the Model 75. I'm lucky to have all three CZ 75s and and have been mixing and matching successfully every time I'm using one of these (the rubberized SP-01 grips currently my favorites).
