Description
The Gamo Swarm Magnum 10X GEN3i Multi-Shot Air Rifle is an affordable breakbarrel airgun. Capable of velocities up to 1650 FPS (with alloy) in .177 caliber. It features a more-compact and lighter 10X GEN 3i Quick-Shot inertia-fed magazine that allows for 10 shots without reloading using a system that loads pellets with the inertia from recoil.
With an IGT Mach 1 inert gas piston powerplant, this airgun gets more power with smoother cocking and shooting than a traditional spring piston air rifle. The 2-stage Custom Action Trigger also allows for independent adjustment of the first and second stages for travel.
The Swarm Magnum includes an 11mm dovetail Recoil Reducing Rail that helps to preserve optics by virtually eliminating stress due to recoil. The Shock Wave Absorber recoil pad adds to the comfort of the air rifle by cutting down on recoil by almost 75%.
With a checkered grip and forearm and automotive-grade glass-filled nylon all-weather thumbhole stock, this airgun performs well in all weather conditions, making it well suited to pesting and small-game hunting. Gamo has also included their Whisper Fusion noise-reducing technology, their best and quietest double integrated suppressor, with two chambers to reduce noise.
The rifle comes with a Gamo 3-9x40 scope with rings that's waterproof, shockproof, and fogproof. For a powerful and accurate multi-shot breakbarrel with customizable features and a scope, get the Gamo Swarm Magnum 10X GEN3i Multi-shot Air Rifle today.

I like everything about this rifle. Powerful.
Things I Would Have ChangedBetter scope with objective magnification
What Others Should KnowExcellent break barrel rifle. Very powerful. I love it. Definitely not for the weak!! This rifle gets a 100 from me
Rifle fits me great, is very accurate, has the power to kill rodents and more at seventy five yards, even farther if you're a good shot.
Things I Would Have ChangedWouldn't change a thing.
Powerful, 22, H&N Hornets, deadly.
Things I Would Have ChangedDrop scope and deduct from price. Give customers an option here. Smooth out or omit oval, sharp burred hole under the trigger shroud. Very irritating on a firm grip. Would be nice to see an optional metal mag. Hornets need some coaxing into mag. Picatinny rail - my scope has already jumped back. So a dab of gorilla glue in the rail should lock it.
What Others Should KnowYes, this is a BEAST to cock. Loud. But getting smoother after 40 shots or so. You can feel the damping effect on recoil - it does not jump back like my 177 Gamo Whisper - retired with barrel droop after three years of “fun” with that gun. But not for the varmints! Enjoying this 22 with three chipmunks from 30 Yards (Leapers UTG True Hunter 3x9x40) after I zeroed it in. Headshot was very impressive. WATCH after removing the mag - ALWAYS safe release another shot - I had one in chamber, so be sure you are not cocked.
First day and owning and put 20 pellets through it so still sighting it. Powerful, nice grip, loading cartridge so far is smooth operation, a BEAST. Extension of rail is helpful for eye relief back on rifle.
Things I Would Have ChangedLose the Gamo scope it comes with, directions could be more clear as it covers other models, it is heavy and LOUD. Add a Picatinny rail!
What Others Should KnowCocking it takes two hands, I have a 70 pound test bow and this gun is a BEAST to cock, 22 is LOUD. Says medium noise level (?). Just sighting it with my Leapers UTG 3x9x40 True Hunter scope, breaking it in and so we shall see how accurate for varmints. Does have a recoil as expected.
Overall, it’s a great gun. I’ve only had it a few days, but I’m pretty impressed. It should come with two magazines.
Things I Would Have ChangedSeems to be pretty loud and to cock it that 40 pounds is a lot when you have arthritis. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m having a hard time adjusting that trigger. You need a certain type Phillips head to get in there and not strip the head of the screw out. I wish it had an adjustable cheek piece.
What Others Should KnowBuy it it’s a great gun. Have fun.
This is a very accurate rifle. Light and easy to carry. The longest shot I made was a head shot on a rabbit at 76 yards. Nice small game air rifle. I have found the H&N hornet very accurate out of this rifle.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe trigger is too heavy and needs to be adjustable. More than one clip would be nice. The magazine needs to be adjusted so it takes various pellets.
What Others Should KnowI went with a Hammers Scope 3-9x40AO built for springer air rifles and it has been excellent. You will need something to lightly press the pellets the rest of the way in the magazine. The Gamo pellets go in the magazine the best but I got tighter groups with the
H&N Hornet and the H&N Terminator Hollowpoint.
I liked the balance and weight of this Gamo 10X Gen 3. The 10 shot mag is a great idea and a really helps to load the next shot quickly especially if you use it for small game hunting .
Things I Would Have ChangedDump the non adjusting parallax scope and add a better quality scope with parallax adjustment. This Gamo Swarm Magnum 10X Gen 3 deserves a scope than what it came with. The scope that came with my Gen 3 Eyepiece would not focus and the AO adjustment was not easy to set it was very tight even still without being able to focus it was a no starter to try and sight in. These problems were not worth time or effort to send back for a replacement. I bought a new scope with parallax adjustment smoother eyepiece adjustment and AO setting from 5 yards to infinity. 6 shots and I was hitting groups inside at 46 yards.
What Others Should KnowThis is a quite a hefty rifle to cock and will give you a work out for a morning of 50 shots. Do yourself a favor and upgrade the scope you will enjoy this Gamo a lot more the one it comes with is not worth the time to mount.
This my first purchase of an air rifle. Love the quality and weight. Easy to shoot and very quiet. Very accurate.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing!
What Others Should KnowOn my first order the was rifle was delivered damaged. Contacted support and they provided me a return shipping label to return the product. Received the replacement within 6 days. Great support!
I like the style and feel of the gun. It is however my first purchase of an air rifle. I purchased the Gamo Swarm Magnum 10x Gen 3 Mult-shot Air Rifle.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would definately change the plastic trigger to a Metal trigger and better trigger screw.
What Others Should KnowAn overall great rifle and for me at 5' 6" 138 lbs and 70 yrs old was not difficult to cock. I purchased the .177 model and love it. Ready to get rid of the many squirels that keep trespassing in my yard.

The rifle is well made and the noise moderator does quiet it down some, it is still loud though. I got the.22 cal which is very accurate. I'm nearly 80 years old and though it's a beast to cock I can still shoot 1/2 inch groups at 25 meters.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would like a picatinny rail option. The scope it comes is cheap and doesn't have a mil dot reticle. By the way I have had 3 scopes replaced under warranty because the reticle shifted due to recoil. I don't like the plastic magazines, metal would be better. The plastic trigger is functional but metal is better and a better trigger is desirable. I cannot adjust the trigger to break to my satisfaction, it just isn't smooth. I have an old (45 years) Feinwerkbau that has a smooth clean breaking trigger, Gamo can do better than this trigger.
What Others Should KnowThe quoted .22 cal 1300 feet per second muzzle velocity is with PBA ammo. I found this ammo is junk, not very accurate at longer distances at only achieves at best 1178 fps in my rifle according to my chronograph. PBA ammo is expensive and shouldn't be used because it can possibly damage the piston seal.
