The shape & offset are good and the texture allows trusting not over tightening, but NEVER OVER TIGHTEN! What i love is 3 stops per ring and no they don't go all the way across and they don't need to and when tightened down they are locked in place.
Things I would have changed:These are made to do the job and be light weight and changing any aspect i can think of would add weight.
What others should know:If i ever had any advice when it comes to rails and scope mounts in particular if you are using multiple components assemble them feel the weight distribution and test it all out for balance then take it all apart and use blue loc-tite putting it all together except on scope rings and then wait the 24 hours for it to cure.

No, these are for picatinny rails, you would need dovetail rings, go for BKL offset rings
