Description
The Schofield No. 3 Black CO2 BB Revolver with 5" barrel is reminiscent of the frontier of the old American West because it's a replica of the renowned US Army cavalry revolver. It provides shooters with plinking and practice fun and is capable of velocities up to 400 FPS.
This airgun features a 6-shot cylinder that uses metal BB cartridges to better simulate an authentic shooting experience. Powered by a single CO2 cartridge and utilizing full-metal frame construction, it also offers the same top-break design as the real steel version.
The No. 3 includes a close attention to detail that makes it look and feel like the real thing, with weight and solidity in the hand and a familiar shape that will require a closer look to determine it's not an actual firearm.
For additional accuracy, this CO2 revolver includes a fixed front blade sight and a fixed rear notch sight. The smooth single-action trigger allows the shooter to use the hammer to cock the airgun for a vintage feeling. To get a faithful airgun reproduction that brings to mind the guns of the old West, buy a Schofield No. 3 Black CO2 BB Revolver with 5" barrel today at Pyramyd AIR.

3 of 13 Barra No. 3 Reviews
Very well made. Looks authentic, even down to the rifling at the muzzle. Feels solid, no play in hinge or barrel latch. Trigger is very good. Really a quality piece. As to accuracy with smooth barrel and .177 Dust Devil bb’s, atrocious. Granted, Dust Devils are belted and not perfect spheres. In a short barrel can’t complain much about that. After the installation of the rifled barrel, the groups tightened considerably. Around 2” @ 20feet. If I didn’t know the grips were plastic, I’d swear they were wood. I’ve handled one authentic Schofield and a reproduction. This is darned well done.
Things I Would Have ChangedWiden the slot in rear sight by 1/32”.
What Others Should KnowGet the rifled barrel kit, .177 or .22 or both. Well worth it.
weight, accuracy, easy one hand aiming. The grip does not easily come off, and the allen wrench is perfect. Good grip. Used to one side falling off of other pistols.

What Others Should KnowIts HEAVY. I like it, but its heavy.

The function of loading and unloading is quite nice with the cartrides. The ability to use BBs, darts or pellets make it quite versatile. Overall, this is a nice, well-weighted plinking pistol.
Things I Would Have ChangedNot the most ideal target pistol. I you prefer pellets, the rifled upgrade barrels are definately better than the stock barrel for accuracy, I am having a .25 barrel made for mine to use the same ammo as my riffle.
What Others Should KnowIt is well worth getting many more cartridges if you plan on plinking for long periods, they make handeling the pellets much easie, especially outside.
