Needing a set of quick detach rings to finish a carbine project with a forward mount scout type scope (Marlin 444 lever gun), I decided to try these rings to see if they would hold up on a hard kicking rifle like this. I was pleasantly surprised to find they worked just as well as the Talley and Leupold rings I have on other similar rifles. And at a much lower price. Easy to attach and remove and returns to zero reliably. Well pleased with this product.

These are machined very well. The quick release levers are now a favorite feature for me and I'll never go back to screw tighten.

These new aluminum rings of today are just as good, actually better, than the steel rings of old. They're lighter weight, and just as strong. The notion that steel rings are a must is an outdated way of thinking.

I like how quick I can remove and install my scope. The build up looks amazing and solid. They look a lot more expensive than what they are.

Nothing, like I said before they are solid and once my scope is mounted it stays solidly mounted.

I have read from other reviews that some people had a hard time locking the rings to the rail. It was not the case here. You follow the directions from the manufacturer and you will be fine.

Used these to mount a Bushnell 4-12x40 scope on my new Ruger 10/22 takedown. With the scope mount above the receiver, these med. hgt. mounts set the objective bell as low as possible and just enough clearance for scope cap. Scope center to center of barrel 1.5". Used the allen screw adjustment to adjust for a secure lock. Time will tell if they hold up, retain "0", after repeated attachment and removal of scope to place rifle in the back pack. I will give update after a range visit.

Order the mounts with the thumb screw, muck better. UTG are excellent mounts but not their quick disc.

I hesitate to call anything perfect. But for what these are and cost they work exactly as needed.

The latch is solid and positive. I was conserned about strength and re tension. No worries!!
