*This is the max velocity with lead pellets. If you shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger, your velocity will be lower. Since CO2 is a refrigerant, you will receive somewhat fewer shots and lower velocities compared with waiting 5-10 seconds between shots. This applies to all CO2 guns.
One of the most fun rifles you'll ever shoot! In fact, Crosman's 1077 was chosen for the 2001 Bikathlon Event at the Boy Scout Jamboree.
This 12-shot repeater runs on standard 12-gram CO2 cartridges and fires as fast as you can pull the trigger. The synthetic stock is durable, will stand up to decades of use and features a checkered pistol grip and forearm. It's lightweight, easy to use and will provide hours of fun for the whole family. Low on noise, the 1077 won't disturb those with sensitive ears or alert everyone in the neighborhood that you're shooting.
Just because this is a reasonably priced gun, don't get the idea that it won't hit its mark. It's accurate and will hit its intended target every time if YOU'RE a good shot! The 1077 is an ideal rifle for kids (with adult supervision) and smaller adults.
The 12-shot rotary clip is easy to load. For even greater accuracy, you can mount a scope on the 11mm dovetails.

Things I liked: Easy to use repeater. Simple double action "revolver" mechanism, no cocking lever or other reasons to change your grip between shots.
Things I would have changed: Trigger has extreme "grind". Wish it was smoother.
What others should know: Bought mine a couple of decades ago in a physical store, before I knew about Pyramid Air.
Things I liked: I liked the design of the gun. It is light, comfortable and easy to use. But the current rifle that I have is the third one that I have gone through, and it has malfunctioned yet again for the same reason. The gun keeps jamming. The rotary pin wheel that houses the pellets keeps jamming. Sometime it works, but the pressure barely propels the pellet a few feet. I keep resetting it, reloading it, and I may get off 2 shots, then it jams up. I will say that the company did replace my 2nd gun with no questions asked. The first one I nulled the warranty because I tried to fix it myself, but it fell apart. But the replacement gun just gave up the ghost. I hate to say it, but this gun is a piece of junk. Look elsewhere.
Things I liked: I like the way it looks
Things I would have changed: Would make the grip better with checkered stock. Would make it of better quality. This is poorly made leaks CO2 and no consistency in shots .
What others should know: Worst gun I ever bought. Leaks CO2 and no consistency in power. JUNK !!!!

Is there an after market front sight without fibre optic for this rifle?
Are the OEM front sights of 2240, 2260MB, or 760 Pumpmaster suitable for the 1077? Will any one of them fit the barrel properly?
For that information contact Crosman.
So I bought some pellets to shoot with this, they're Skenco golden rod long range pellets (lead-free). the package says they're .177cal, 4.5mm, 8.5grain....but they're too long to fit in my magazine. Is there an optional larger mag for longer pellets?
No. Pellet length in magazine guns is always an issue. Waddcutters and most domed pellets will fit. You should shoot light pellets from the 1077.
