Sure to satisfy lovers of backyard target shooting and small game hunting, the Sortie lets you take shot after shot as fast as you can pull the trigger. Now Hatsan has released the Hatsan Sortie Tact giving you everything you loved about the Sortie, with the stabilization of a removable folding stock.
Featuring a 62cc cylinder that’s simple to fill with a handpump, you can sling lead downrange at speeds up to 750 fps (650 in .22). To take advantage of this pistol’s repeating shots, Hatsan included 3 magazines (10 in .25, 12 in .22 and .14 in .177).
With the Sortie, you can keep your shots on target with the detachable fiber-optic sights, or use the combo Dovetail/Picatinny optics rail—a rail that deserves a red-dot for fast sighting and shooting. The ergonomic synthetic grip gives the Sortie full-weather capability, and ready to toss into the back of a hiking bag when not stored in the included hard case.

I've had the pistol for 3 months now and it has been flawless. the semi-auto action is really smooth and gun will shoot as fast as I trigger. It is louder than my flashpup with silencer, but not too loud. I paid for Pyramid to shoot 10 pellets test run before shipping. The gun shoots straight right out of the box. I bought an extra red dot sight but haven't used it yet, the fibre optic sights on the Sortie work great and pistol is accurate to 40 yards once you learn to compensate for distance. the plastic case is excellent too. nice set of accessories came along. very powerful 0.25 cannon!
Things I would have changed:the air tank runs down after 20 quick shots, but usable for another 10 if you adjust your sighting to compensate.
What others should know:Don't use 0.25 magazines from Flashpup. use only the specific magazines even though they look exactly the same. the rifle magazine spring isn't quick enough and you can jam. this pistol action is fast!

What is the best budget friendly hand pump for this model?
I bought a Hiram (Chinese made) pump that goes to 300 bar for US$50. I think the prices have gone up to like US$65 at this time. Mine still works fine after many fills on my AirVenturi Avenger, or 100's of pump strokes. The guys at my gun club told me NOT to buy and expensive hand pump because even if it broke, I could buy 3-4 of those for the price of one expensive pump.
Anyone else get their new sortie and it just leaks air?
Was not defective. It takes a few pumps I guess to seat the seals.
