Umarex Origin PCP .22 Air Rifle with Hand Pump
The Umarex Origin PCP Air Rifle with High Pressure Air Pump was designed to lessen the burden of pumping encountered by many users of precharged pneumatics. It takes only 13 pumps to get a full-power shot, or 100 pumps to completely fill the reservoir.
Umarex accomplishes this ease of use with their exclusive Ever Pressure Tank system that compresses the reservoir air with a pre-pressurized chamber. This system helps reduce the number of pumps needed by up to 50% over similar competing airguns, letting shooters get more shots from less pumping.
With a smooth sidelever, adjustable 2-stage trigger, integrated fill pressure gauge, and included Umarex hand pump, this air rifle gives users everything needed to start shooting quickly and easily. The combination Picatinny and 11mm dovetail optics rail offers flexibility for adding a scope, and the rubber buttpad and textured pistol grip add to the comfort and dependability.
If you want a no-nonsense way to shoot a precharged pneumatic rifle on a budget and without worrying about running out of air or lugging around a powered pump, get the Umarex Origin PCP Air Rifle with High Pressure Air Pump from Pyramyd Air today.

The gun is excellent and very accurate. Nice side lever action and two magazines.
Things I would have changed:The pump is COMPLETE JUNK. I got my gun pumped up twice and then the pump quit. No cleaning and servicing the pump with the included kit could get it back to work. This pump is completely 100% WORTHLESS! Also, the stock finish is crude. I realize its a plastic stock, but this one looks really super cheap and crudely finished. I am sure with a little more attetion they could make a really nice looking stock without spending more money.
What others should know:This kit is a prefect example of a great idea ruined by very poor execution that makes it a bad deal in the end! DON't buy this kit thinking you can hand pump and avoid spending money on some sort of device to fill the PCP tank. The gun is great but you will need to get something to fill your tank. This pump will quit on you soon after you get the kit. Too bad. Good idea, poor execution. Should have bought a marauder. I regret it now.

I have a concern about the hand pump. Does anyone know if the manufacturer has addressed the hand pump issue?
Anyone tried to quiet the Origin down yet? Mine is way too loud for the backyard so I am using my Benjamin Prowler that is quiet.
DonnyFL sells a moderator adapter that screws right in to the shroud. I use that with the Tanto suppressor and now allI hear is the hammer striking the valve.
The plug in the end of the barrel shroud is threaded and screws out. The shroud is several inches longer than the barrel. Fill the space with baffles (something as simple as corrugated card-board disks w/ .30 center-hole separated w/ o-rings). Check your local laws. My Origin shoots quieter than my 2240.
Ebay slip in moderator does a little. I threaded my end cap and put external moderator and it definitely quiets it down
I am looking to buy the Umarex Origin, i already have a Hill mk.4 hand Pump, I am Hoping that Umarex will offer the origin at $100.00 less minus the Pump at some point.
I just bought my Origin with the hand pump from sportsmansguide.com for $269.99(members price) non-members $299.99. Great company! You don't get the option of a 10 for $10 test, but returns are easy if you have a problem.
I too would wish to buy the Origin without the hand pump as I have a Hill and an AirForce pumps already.

easy to pump up until around 3000 psi then it starts to get difficult but considering that 2000 to 3000 psi is the sweet spot for this gun, it's not a problem
Things I would have changed:add iron sights, not a big fan of optics
What others should know:I've always wanted to get into PCP's but thought that all the items needed are cost prohibitive and there are no scuba tank shops in the prairie land so filling a tank was not a possibility. This is an option that I can use
