Description

If you've limited your hunting to single-shot airguns because your repeaters couldn't take the longer Polymag pellets, then you're in luck. Predator's Polymag Shorts have the same great uniformity and performance of the regular Polymags but are just a touch shorter so they don't interfere with the proper functioning of the magazine.

Perfection as always, fits in all 5 of my 22 clips... Don't have to Dremel out the bottom of my guns clips anymore...

Way to expensive for 200!!! For the price, I think they should add a screw on lid as usual... Same as everyone complains about, you'd think they'd listen to all the peoples complaints over the years, and add a screw on lid...

Fit in all 5 of my different 22 caliber guns clips...

Good accuracy out of my Gamo Mag Hunter Extreme Pro. At 40 yards can cover 5 shot group with a quarter easily. Tremendous impact, shock and expansion. My GM HEP shoots these at 890 fps for 28 fpe.

For the $, more pellets per tin.

These and regular Polymag. 22 hit harder, expand more than any other pellet and I've tried every .22 pellet there is. Not cheap but if your gun can put these on a live target accurately they are worth the $.

Accurate, uniform expansion,

Make skirt diameter slightly larger so pellet does not fall out of the barrel on a RWS 48 in 22 cal.

Overall very good pellet for small pests, but I will partially cock my RWS 48 and insert a Predator polymag pellet and then release the cocking lever without compressing the spring, then when I need it I just have to compress spring and shoot. The problem is occasionally when I go to compress the spring, with barrel pointing upward, the Predator pellet will fall out of the barrel and then as I close the breach the pellet will get jammed in the breach making the gun non-operable, a real pain. Then I have to use a pick with a curved and twisted end to get the damaged pellet out of the breach. Guess no more preloading of Predator polymag pellets, and need to keep an eye on the pellet when I do load. Not ergonomic to compress the spring with the barrel pointing downward on a side-lever like the RWS 48.

They feed flawlessly in the magazine of my FX Impact MKII Compact .22 (the non-short version was too long to work.) They are also very accurate in this same rifle (1/4" at 25 yards.) I like that they are shorter than the longer version but weigh almost the same (only 0.25g less.) They do some pretty cool damage to stuff when compared to domed pellets.

I shoot an umarex octane 22 cal for various critters around my house. I'm not the guy that tests multiple ammo and shoots 1000 rounds a year. These things shoot 1-1 1/2 groups at 40 yards and kill things up to groundhog size consistently. They expand well and get the job done.

nothing

They are a little pricey but it's worth it to me.

great quality. very accurate. nice mushroom effect.

the canister should be screw on.

just a great pellet. accuracy is more than the comments offer online and elsewhere.
i can shoot about a 1/8" dot from 30 yards easy. people need to know how to zero a scope... also how to hold s rifle while shooting.

Confirm what Maurice said. Unlike powder firearms, airguns are each and every one unique to itself. Ammo that will put one pellet into a pellet hole at 50 yards with one airgun might give a shotgun pattern with another airgun. That's part of the attraction - finding that exact combination of pellet, lubricant, scope, and hold that yields those "one hole groups" at 100 yards. Yes, I'm exaggerating a bit, but not that much. British airgunners are making 100 yard shots on rabbits and squirrels - consistently. The trajectory for that long a shot with an airgun is similar to artillery, but the point is that it can be done with attention to detail. Me, personally? I don't have that level of OCD. I don't want to weigh every single pellet in a tin. I don't want to measure head size in the thousandths. Short of that, though, trying different brands of ammo, and different ways of lubricating the pellets...yes, I'll do that and when things "click" I'm very pleased.

You gotta remember no two guns are the same. Just because your gun loves them doesn't mean others will. Not fair to bash other shooters ability to zero their scope.

I had hard times looking for the right pellets for my Hatsan bullboss which for some reason doesn't like any pellets that I had tried until I've found the Predator Polymag Shorts and it shoots beautifully. My FX Wildcat also shoot them very well...pellets to go for both guns. It's fun to shoot at paper it makes a nice round and clean hole.Received my tin in perfect condition...Thank you!!!

A little bit pricy.

Small games and target shooting.
