Things I liked: This is a good inexpensive general round for target and small pest control. This round generally did not do well at longer distances on most of my PCP airguns, but when I tested with the Hatsan Flash .22 I got pretty good grouping 25 - 35 yards (dime to quarter) and acceptable grouping at 50 yards (1.5"<).

Things I would have changed: The pellets could be a little cleaner, always a lot of loose lead particles in the can and inside the skirts. You usually can blow it off, but not always.

What others should know: I would get just one tin to test with, and if you find a winning combo, these are reasonable enough to use for everyday general shooting.

Things I liked: Good price per shot, pretty consistent shape.

Things I would have changed: Nothing

What others should know: With the Benjamin Roge NP2 .22 the best group I could get at 25 yards was 2.5 inches.

  • summit from Philippines asked:

what is the head size of the premier domed ultra magnum .22 14.3 gr? is it 5.50mm 5.51mm 5.52mm or what?

    • John from USA:

The most important thing that you need to learn is poa (point of aim) and poi (point of impact) and how to make them come together on your target. Once you figure that out, you will find accuracy. Poi can change off your poa as the sun moves across the sky. If you do not know how to stay on top of it, your poi can change by 3/4 inches. Just a little tid-bit. Woodys World.

    • John from USA:

The head size is .22 caliber/5.5mm. What is it you do not understand? Knowing that will not make you a better shooter, Woodys World.

    • John from USA:

There are some souls out there weighing each pellet. You would think that they would also measure head size. Does it really matter that much? I am a true fan of Crosman Premiers, there is no better pellet. Made in the USA and packaged in red, white, and blue screw on tin tops. I have other brand pellets, but, I am no longer re-buying or buying pellets that are not in tins with screw on tops, regardless of what the reviewers say about them. Pyramyd Air is not at fault. Woodys World.

    • Tyler from USA:

Crosman does not specify a head size for these pellets

  • Jason from USA asked:

i own a gamo wildcat whisper can anyone inform me on how these pellet perform with this air rifle

    • Tyler from USA:

In the Gamo's I've shot they tend to work fairly well. Not as good as JSB though. But your mileage may vary

  • Joseph from USA asked:

Why aren't these available in the box anymore?

    • Paul from USA:

I think you'd have to call the manufacture.
