Description

The Barra 1866 CO2 Pellet Rifle is a replica airgun that takes shooters to an earlier era in history with realistic details and operation in a very attractive package. It is capable of reaching velocities up to 450 FPS in .22 caliber to provide the power and accuracy needed for long days of fun backyard plinking.

For added realism, this airgun uses metal cartridges that the shooter loads with a pellet and pushes through the loading port, and the cartridges eject when shot. The airgun is powered by two 12-gram CO2 cartridges, which are loaded in the end of the buttplate along with the Allen wrench, to provide ample shots and power, and it has a 10-round internal tube magazine like its firearm inspiration.

The synthetic stock on the Barra 1866 CO2 is durable and lightweight, and the wood grain finish gives it a smooth and classic appearance. The airgun uses a metal receiver for added strength, and it also features an interchangeable barrel system, with the ability to switch to a smoothbore barrel that can shoot cartridges that accommodate pellets, available for separate purchase.

In order to provide accurate shots, this air gun includes a fixed front post sight and a flip-up iron sight for realism, as well as a removable short Picatinny optics rail for adding a small red dot sight to further increase precision.

To get an airgun with the looks and features of the lever action guns of history to experience limitless plinking enjoyment, buy the Barra 1866 CO2 Pellet Rifle at Pyramyd AIR today.

I got this rifle for Christmas and it is an awesome rifle. Looks and feels amazing, loading and unloading of the shells works flawless. I only have 1 comment and that is about the shells that come with, the rubber inside a couple shells has seemed to have come loose and disappear after only a couple shots.

Really cool pellet rifle in .22 cal. Quieter than I expected which is great. Really nice feel to the whole gun. The cartridges are fine except that annoying rubber piece that holds the pellet. They fall out so easy. I was skeptical about how others complained, but a drop of less than a foot onto carpet and the rubber piece goes flying away. So I’ll try to glue them in place at some point and it should be fine. The pic rail on top is nice and I have a micro red dot in it, however it doesn’t co-witness very well. I had to drop the dot as far down as it would go and it’s about in line with the very top of the flip up sight. So maybe there is a super low profile red dot, but the one I got is already really low and small. So I wouldn’t plan on this thing co-witnessing very well. Still really cool and fun to shoot. I can’t wait to bust some cans with the power of a .22 pellet lol

Very nice rifle. Well built and works smoothly. Very accurate. Looks awesome! Love the action and how it feels. I only gave it 4 stars because 8 out of 10 of the pellet holders came out of the cartridges when ejected from the rifle. I fixed them with some spray glue and a swab. So far so good. Company needs to address that problem.

Not only is this a beautiful rifle, but it is very solid and well-built as well. It functions just like the real deal and it looks great hanging on the wall as well. A couple caveats: (1) since the cartridges eject like a real rifle, you need to be aware of where you are firing. Out in the woods, it's easy to lose the ejected shells and they're not cheap to replace. (2) If you're firing while standing on a hard surface, when the empty cartridges land, the plastic core that holds the pellet in the shell can slip out and get lost. 'Twould be great if Barra offered replacements. All in all a beautiful replica and fun to shoot.

Wow this 1866 is a beautiful riffle added to my collection. The gold is bright, the faux wood look real and the riffle is kinda heavy. The feeling of inserting the bullet one by one is nice. Very cool to see the bullets flies. I'm very satisfied.

I recently purchased the .22 caliber version of this gun. I like the appearance. I also like the operation. It really feels like the lever action rifle that it replicates.

The design of the cartridges. The inserts that hold the pellets fall out too easily.

The inserts that hold the pellets into the cartridges fall out very easily. I lost three inserts during the first attempt at shooting this rifle. Now I have to order more cartidges, and at $17.97 + shipping for a pack of 10, I won't be shooting this gun very much.

Its a beautiful replica and is not just the looks but it works fine. Very acurate. I added a red dot scope on the picatiny and blasted the targets. Only complaint is that is a bit heavy.

The fit and finish of the rifle is great

Make it shoot one 12gram co2 at a time, since mine only pops one out of two anyway

My rifle doesn’t like to pop both 12gram co2 cylinders at the same time. I’m afraid when I’m screwing in the plug that if I screw it any harder I will strip the threads, but it isn’t a bad thing to work half the time because the rifle shoots about 40 shots with the one 12gram co2.
Overall I really love this rifle. Very fun to load 40-50 rounds and plink anyway

I have the 1894 co2 rifle and it does the same than if you put a dime in between the two co2 cartridges ti punctures both the co2 cartridges it works with my 1894 rifle. I just order the 1866 rifle i holp it as good 1894
