Description
The Beeman R7 Elite is an accurate fun and easy shooting youth airgun. In effect, it's a miniaturized version of the R9, making the R7’s features are head and shoulders above most youth air guns.
Featuring a gorgeous checkered stock, the R7’s small size is easy to manage, and its shorter barrel makes it easy to cock without reducing its accuracy. The R7 is all metal and wood with no plastic parts to be found externally.
Featuring the famed 2-stage Rekord trigger of the R9 with its exceptionally crisp breaks adds to the quality of the R7’s build. You don’t usually see an adjustable trigger this good on a youth rifle, and it really aids its ability to place accurate shots. Each R7 Elite comes with a mounted Mantis 3-9x40 AO Rifle Scope that keeps your targets nice and close. Remove the scope to access the open sights.
All-in-all an excellent youth rifle with a fit and finish worthy of heirloom status.

Accuracy- right out of the box accurate. I'm controlling small pests near martin houses, this gem is perfect. Quiet- looked long and hard for the combination of accuracy and silence. Im looking no more. Quality- the wooden stock, solid workmanship and beauty of the Beeman R7 is outstanding. Make no mistake, this guy packs a punch and is dead on accurate.
Things I Would Have ChangedI should have bought two.
What Others Should KnowI spent years on less expensive types of pellet gun, they wear out. Reach for the combo with mantis scope, you won't be disappointed.
Beautiful little air rifle and laser accurate
Things I Would Have ChangedNada, you can’t gild a lily. In other words not a thing.
What Others Should KnowYes don’t buy it if your not interested in a fine, well made bullseye accurate easy cocking fun to shoot wee rifle. That can also dispatch rats, starlings, chipmunks (where legal) squirrels(again where legal or in season) and if your using the correct pellets and the range is limited for taking squirrels.
This rifle is as good as Weihrauch ever made. Beeman never made anything, only imported and marketed. The Elite comes with a mounted scope. Wrong! It shows up in two boxes and you must do the mounting. No huge deal, but why lie about it? Saying so does not mean it is so.
Things I Would Have ChangedMount the scope or tell the truth.
What Others Should KnowExcellent rifle, but I will not use the scope, and will put a quality scope on the gun.
PLEASE READ THIS. I bought this rifle after TONS of research. I received it and tried the open sights. My eyes suck so that didnt work( my fault). Got a scope. Started shooting it again. Rounds were going all over the place. I was MAD!!! 400$!!!! For THIS?!!! I was about to return it BUT i realized that the screws holding the action to the stock were SUPER LOOSE! Almost falling out! I applied Locktite and cranked down those screws. HOLY $h&t!!!!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I am not exaggerating.. i can hit a spent 9mm casing at 25 METERS now CONSISTENTLY! Im currently looking for a place where i can really test this thing because its just boring hitting dime -size targets at this range! The short size of this rifle was also deterring me from buying it but it is NOT AN ISSUE. Eye relief and pull distance is just fine. I also bought this due to the easy cocking because i want my lady to get some. Its PERFECT in this scenario. BUY THIS RIFLE!!
Things I Would Have ChangedNOTHING!!!! But buy some Locktite for your action to stock screws
What Others Should KnowPrepare to spend $$$$ on lead because you can shoot ALL DAY with this rifle. Im using Crossman 7.9 grain .177 pellets and i can hit dimes at 25 meters. Plus the cocking effort is NOTHING!
Beautiful gun and I would change nothing! The wood stock and craftsmanship are superb. The scope is really nice too. Expensive, but worth it.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
Beautiful rifle. Superior craftsmanship throughout. I am 66 years old and I do not have the strength to pull down a springer with 30 pounds of pull so this is absolutely perfect for me. The scope was suppose to be dialed in at 20 yards but it was off so I adjusted and it is now spot on with EVERY shot at 20 yards! I cannot believe how accurate it is. I bought a shooting table and bags to get the most out of this rifle and it has been a pleasure to shoot. Love it.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing at all!
What Others Should KnowDo not waste your time with other, cheaper rifles if you are wanting the best there is. Spend the extra dollars and you will have a great rifle for years to come.
I have own the R7 for a few weeks now, and have put about 300 rounds through it. Accuracy is excellent, and seems to be getting better as I get more rounds downrange. Its capable of .5" groups at 25 yards with cheap pellets, and slightly better with premium ammo. The rifle is well made, handles nice, and is a joy the shoot. The 18 lb cocking effort is appreciated too. The trigger is almost on par with some of the triggers on my 22LR and centerfire rifles and is consistent, and easy to adjust.
Things I Would Have ChangedPossibly change the auto engage safety. Its not a big deal, but IMO is not needed.
What Others Should KnowWell made, accurate, fun to shoot, and perfect sized for a quality plinking /range rifle. I wish I had bought one years ago!
Compact size. Easy to cock. Accurate. Excellent fit and finish.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowEasy trans action, fast service.
The rifle is very smooth. A beautiful fit and finish. It came with a Mantis scope that was mounted and zeroed. It's the first rifle that I've bought, that came with a scope that I don't need to replace. It also had been shot 20 times over a chronograph. The signed chrono tape was shipped with the rifle. The forearm needs to be held loose, but unlike other break barrels, it is not as "hold" picky. For me, that artillery hold is just in front of the trigger guard. Nor is it pellet picky. Crosman Premiers group very well, and that's good because they are inexpensive. It is such a pleasure to shoot. I smile just thinking about it. I also bought an R9 .22. Everything above holds true for the R9 as well although it is considerably more powerful.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe safety. Once the rifle is cocked, pellet loaded, and the safety OFF, it must be fired to make it safe again. The safety CAN NOT be put back to the safe position once moved to the fire position. (same for the R9)
What Others Should KnowThe R7 has a short length of pull. It fits me well, but I'm old and only 5'6". A great starter rifle for a young person. The cocking is very smooth and effortless. It is light, another feature that I appreciate. It is not a powerful rifle and isn't meant for hunting. It is very quiet. It is a very accurate rifle. A wonderful backyard target rifle that is a joy to shoot all day long. I wish that I had bought it years ago.

Accurate, fit, finish, stock, trigger, easy to cock. This small rifle is a joy to shoot.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowRifle is a little smaller than a standard break barrel air rifle but that should not detract from the average size person. Wish I had this one 60 years ago. Love it.
