A design collaboration between custom knifemaker Andrew Demko and Lynn C. Thompson, the Espadas are available in two sizes to suit both the bold and the boldest of individuals! Despite their imposing size, they are expertly designed to fit comfortably and discreetly in your pocket. You'll soon forget that you are carrying such a large and impressive blade. Equipped with the patented Demko Thumb Plate, the Large and Extra Large Espadas can be snagged on your pocket, opening the knife as you draw it - and opening in the blink of an eye! The Espada's beautiful blades are made from Japanese AUS-10A stainless steel. Each Espada is equipped with the patented Tri-Ad locking mechanism, proven to have amazing shock resistance and strength. In their own notoriously brutal product testing, the XL Espada was not only capable of holding 600lbs of free hanging weight, but they even used it to support a hanging engine block!

Amazing knife! Only thing better would be two of them!
Everything it said it was. Nice and light. The mirror finish I'm putting on the DLC blade will look amazing.

Love the Ruby Red G10 with matching DLC blade! I have many other Cold Steel products, but hadn't planned on getting the Espada XL until now, and I'm glad I did! At this price it was hard to pass up. As always with Cold Steel knives, it came razor sharp. It's a worthy addition to the stable. I would highly recommend! Thanks Cold Steel.

Yes, this knife is HUGE. Yes, it’s sharp right out the box. Yes, it’s just as awesome, if not more awesome than you had imagined. The black blade against the Ruby Red handle looks amazing. Definitely the most stand out knife in my collection. The red isn’t gaudy at all and is a welcomed change from the common black, tan, or military green. Worth every penny.
