Description
The Element Optics Immersive 10X40 prismatic riflescope is an optic with a .7” eye relief that’s great for zero-recoil rifles. It’s a feature-rich scope that gives the air gunner a wider field of view than what’s found on most traditional optics. This gives the shooter a more immersive experience with excellent clarity thanks to the ED Glass.
The field of view is 34 feet at 100 yards, and the optic is available with two different reticles, MOA and MRAD. Elevation and windage are adjustable thanks to the exposed elevation and capped windage turrets. Click value is either 1/4 MOA or 1/10 MRAD, with 83 MOA or 28 MRAD of adjustment, depending on the reticle.
If you’re looking for a new rifle optic with a wide field of view, then look no further. Buy your new Element Optics Immersive Series 10X40 Prismatic Riflescope from Pyramyd Air, today.

The field of view is impressive and useful for finding targets, as is the build quality and attention to extra details like lens caps, those droop/drop adjustable mounts, the clarity of the glass and such. The red reticle illumination is nice and faint on the low setting, which helps avoid wash-out in low light. On bright it is daylight bright. The depth of field seems shallow, which may help with ranging if I can get a wheel or something on that side-focus [k n o b - the site's AI seems to think that word is R-rated]. That just has hashes which all look similar. The rubber eye cup helps to precisely position the eye, which is critical with this scope.
Things I Would Have ChangedI wish the eye relief and positioning was a little more forgiving, as it can be a real challenge to focus that expanse of reticle. Off by just a millimeter and parts of the reticle look blurry. Perhaps a bigger exit pupil, say, at 10x50 (10x70!) might help? (But I bet that would be pricey.)
What Others Should KnowI gave 4 stars as an alert to potential buyers that this isn't like most scopes, and it looks like it will require some training of my head and eye position to actually see through it well.
I find the eye position to be difficult and yet critical to see all that field of view, and especially the reticle.
This may not be the best low-light scope, as it looks dimmer than even my cheapo Centerpoint 40mm at 10x, and in low light the reticle gets blurry and tough to focus the eye on. But I guess there is the illumination to help that out. This seems a better scope for hunting at distance in bright daylight on the savanna than for glassing the dark woods.
