Description
The Gladius Airgun is an all-around great airgun for everything from plinking to varmint hunting. It sports a customizable bullpup design with an ambidextrous stock constructed of advanced, weather-resistant polymer. The stock has an elevation adjustable comb and an adjustable buttpad providing a comfortable shot every time. You'll love the convenient storage of up to 3 additional rotary magazines built right into the stock, and the side-lever action offers quick and easy follow-up shots when you need them. The safety is automatic upon cocking, and can also be applied manually.
One of the most exciting features of the Gladius is the adjustable power setting option. With a simple turn of the power adjustment knob, you can go from backyard plinking on the low setting, to varmint hunting on the highest setting. Not only does this allow you to maximize your shots per fill, but you get to choose the perfect velocity and power for your target. Depending on which setting you choose, enjoy from 35 up to 50 shots per fill! Yes...50! Using the lower power setting increases the shot count per fill and reduces the report.
The Gladius features Hatsan's QuietEnergy Technology with a fully integrated sound moderator that diminishes overall sound, so this gun is more than quiet enough for backyard shooting.

Accuracy Power Look Extra mag
Things I Would Have ChangedWeight Construction quality Stock coating Case interior material, just put foam
What Others Should KnowI return one to PA because the stock start to peeling from day one and the quality control on final product is not what I want. The are a lot of mark around the metal parts of the rifle. The CNC quality is poor. The side lever cocking action is loose, not solid and that can cause damage if you dont use it with caution. The case inner material came damage and peeling. I prefer spend more money in a rifle with better end quality. Is Hatsan resolve that issues this will be the best rifle for the money ever.
This PCP comes with a ton of extras for the money. Case, 4 magazines, carry strap and rails everywhere to name a few. Fully adjustable to fit any shooter.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe Gladius is extremely heavy. a forward bi-pod is a must.
What Others Should KnowI struggled a ton with the which ammo and power settings to set her at for the accuracy I wanted. With that said, I found the power setting @ 5 and shooting the H&N Slug HP .218 @25 grain is the match made in heaven for me. I'm getting dime size accuracy at 30 yds with zero fly-aways.
like the gun very much am still getting use to it though Pros: shoots great Cons: little heavy
the most important quality of an airgun is accuracy, this rifle delivers that. Lots of features, like the power adjuster, spare clips, sound suppression.
Things I Would Have Changedthe weight
What Others Should Knowdon't give up , on finding the right pellet for your rifle. it was hard for me to believe the rws superdomes, were the most accurate out of my rifle. the results, were not even close. several pellets shot ok, good enough for hunting out to 30 yards, but the rws superdomes, have made this a 60 to 70 yard hunter.
love how accurate this pup is. The adjustability is pretty sweet too.
Things I Would Have Changedit would have to be the trigger. don't get me wrong its a good trigger but adjusting it takes a good amount of time finally think I got it right.
What Others Should Knowif your having trouble with the accuracy or think its the accuracy it possibly could be the hammer spring adjustment. when I first got it I didn't adjust anything and couldn't figure out why at every yardage I shot at the shots were consistent but point of impacted was different. took me awhile to notice why. first clip would hit high and left then would go to zero around mid second clip. once I adjusted the hammer spring POI is same at all yardages shot before with mandatory elevation adjustments. consider the adjustments before you give up on this pup.
Well balanced and comfortable. Accurate great combo kit
Excellent quality and craftsmanship. Easy to set up and shoot. Very accurate. Stock and cheek rest can be customized to fit
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowScope that came with gun was clearly refurbished as paint scuffs had been covered with a black sharpie - came off with alcohol.
Will need an adapter for the fill probe if you use quick disconnects.
Lots of extras included, very accurate, great value for the price. Rifle is capable of better accuracy than the shooter is capable of.
Things I Would Have ChangedWeight, its kinda heavy but has good balance
What Others Should KnowIf you like to shoot this rifle is perfect. I purchased the long .22 version.
Looks great and good balance
Things I Would Have ChangedI have tried everything to get the accuracy others have posted. Thirteen different pellets, my best Hawke scope. cleaned the barrel and removed the baffles to ensure the pellet was not hitting the baffles or the end cap. I am still getting three to five inch groups. Sadly I have had the rifle past the thirty day return period. I could get a tune and a regulator, however that would add an additional $400.00 to the cost. I am stuck with a useless air rifle.

I have a few Hatsan air guns all from PA, my newest addition is the gladius in .25 caliber and like all my Hatsans they are built like tanks great metal construction, I know this because I have been working as a precision machinist and sheet metal mechanic for over 25 years. I got my gladius with the 10 for 10, well worth it. The gun is on the heavy side but that can be expected, but well balanced, what I like most about the gladius is the all metal magazine I don't have to be concerned about spring fatigue I can leave the magazine loaded forever. The gun has many great features. I want to mention when loading with lead ammo, if it is hot and humid you could have a problem loading and unloading because lead is soft and therefore will expand I had this problem until I realized this and used my baracuda green being that they are made of tin therefore less expansion. PS accuracy so far is 1.5" at 75 yards with baracuda green, I think it can do better, still working on that.
Things I Would Have ChangedIt would have been nice if the gladius came with a fixed sight, call me old school but it would make for a good back up.
What Others Should KnowOver all great air gun for the money, very happy with it.
