Description
This 6-shooter is an authentic replica of the famous Schofield No. 3 designed by Army Ordnance officer, Major George W. Schofield of the 10th Cavalry.
The U.S. Army ordered thousands of the Schofield No. 3, and many were used by the 4th Cavalry in the Geronimo campaign and by the Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th and 10th Cavalry. The revolver was popular among horse soldiers because of its top-break, rapid ejection system.
The Nickel version of this legendary gun features the same top-break design and will bring you hours of plinking fun.

10 of 31 Barra No. 3 Dual Ammo Reviews
Well, this is the one that sent me down the "Old West" replica air gun rabbit hole. C02 pellet and BB guns have come a long way since I fooled around with them as a kid 55+ years ago! This is a spectacular replica gun; fit and finish are superb, the heft and feel are very similar to the real deal, and it's tons of fun to shoot. Half the fun in shooting it is loading up the cartridges with BBs (or pellets), hats off to whoever came up with that idea! I liked this revolver so much, I bought the 5 inch model in black as a companion piece!
Things I Would Have ChangedHonestly, not a thing. Well, as others have suggested, maybe real wood grips? (I've equipped both of my Schofields with the white faux ivory grip panels, a very nice upgrade - particularly on the nickel finish models.)
What Others Should KnowOverall, I'm greatly impressed with Barra's Schofield offerings; I've only put a couple hundred rounds through mine, but have experienced no issues in functionality - you put the BBs in the cartridges, load 'em up, and pull the trigger...repeat until you're outta gas.
The sights aren't adjustable, so you'll need to learn to shoot where the gun points - mine's a little low and to the right - but once you figure that out, you'll be bouncing cans all over your yard.
I've always liked the Schofield, but given the cost of the .45 cal replicas, the cost of .45 cal ammo, and lack of a place and/or opportunities to shoot, it's just not practical for me. But then I stumbled across these. For about the price of a good (but non-functioning) wall hanger or prop gun, you can get a gorgeous, well-built replica (which would do any film set or Western collection proud) that you can take out to the garage or back yard to punch holes in targets and cans.
The realism of both the look and feel. This gun is a work of art. It shots great, but you may just want to put it on a wall behind your desk. You wont, but. You certainly could.
Things I Would Have ChangedI wouldnot change a thing.
Fantastic. Realistik
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowFunny to use
I was tight on the paper middle black. I ran a couple hundread rounds on Silhouette and crazy eights. Good time.
Things I Would Have ChangedIf I were Barra I would change to metal hammer and trigger and sight just for quality and dependability. The trigger and hammer are plastic they don't turn as smooth as a piece maker as you cock you have to let you trigger finger off to cycle well.
What Others Should Know7 Inch barrel Schofield is a deceit piece.
Here what you get in the kit gun six bib cartridges and six pellet shell.
EVERYTHING !
Things I Would Have Changedmaybe some custom hand grips... for fun.. like some engraving in the handles and color option? Maybe we can by them as extras
What Others Should KnowThis is a by far the best replica I own!! its my favorite replica.. i have a Colt and its cool and i have a couple other pellet guns,
However this is a must have for those that want to experience what it must have been like to handle a real Scofield back in the old west
Really Really like this Pistol
This is a great airgun! Accurate and just plain fun! Should have bought 2! Twice as much fun!
Things I Would Have ChangedMake it in .22
Awesome value. Overall quality and appearance way beyond what I expected for the price.
This revolver is a very nice piece for ones collection and shot well.
This pistol rocks it's easy to use and shoots perfectly I shot mine when I got it and shot a see and tack target about 20 ft away both the pellets and bb's hit next to bullseye. I'll be shooting it more when spring gets here.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowIt's a awesome pistol it's got some weight to it but it shoots perfectly, it's also a historical piece .

Extremely authentic. Love the weight and ergonomics. Some reviewers professed off zero accuracy. This was not the case with mine. At 20 feet this gun is dead on shot after shot with BB’s and pellets straight out of the box. I have many CO2 guns and this is know one of my favorites.
Things I Would Have ChangedStainless trigger and hammer walnut grips, but not a real issue for function at this price point.
What Others Should KnowI have real Schofields and with my eyes closed they are hard to distinguish. I’m extremely satisfied and would recommend this lovely pistol.
