Looks like a .45 1911 firearm...and just as accurate! Made in Germany by the legendary Weihrauch company, the Beeman P1 is considered by many to be the Holy Grail of air pistols. This is an heirloom airgun that you'll pass along to your grandchildren and beyond.

The gun's heft and balance convey quality and substance. It fills your hand without feeling bulky or oversized. The unusual overlever cocking mechanism compresses the powerful mainspring, and the hammer is actually the catch for it. Highly adjustable two-stage trigger, which has a serrated surface for more control, will help you extract maximum accuracy from the P1. In fact, the adjustable trigger is so crisp, you'll wish it was on your firearms.

The dovetail grooves are extra wide, and our accessory list has several 11mm to 14mm mounts that are known to fit.

Unlike many modern air pistols, the P1 isn't made of molded synthetics. It's a solid metal gun with finely checkered walnut grips. And, it's ambidextrous. The 11mm dovetails make it easy to mount a pistol scope or a red dot sight.

The P1 has two power levels. The different power levels are created by cocking the gun to different lock points. See the detail shots to see how to cock the gun for high power and low power.

The distance you shoot, the weight of the pellet and the type of target will let you determine which power level is best. The P1 is an excellent indoor trainer for those who shoot the M1911A1.

Things I liked: Well built. Good adjustable rear sight. Good adjustable trigger. I still am using the factory setting. Good power for an air pistol. The gun looks awkward and unbalanced but I find it to be lighter than I expected and nicely balanced. Cocking is not to hard for an adult.

Things I would have changed: Better accuracy. It is good for a spring powered air pistol but not match accuracy. I get tighter groups from an old RWS 5g. Will have to try more pellets.

What others should know: I should have bought this gun years ago when the shoulder stock was available for it. Probably the best spring piston air pistol made today.

Things I liked: Everything. Beautiful craftsmanship.

Things I would have changed: I prefer fiber optics but the iron sights look better in my opinion.

What others should know: I just ordered this so Ill be updating my review once I recieve the piece. I already own an hw45 black star version in .22 and its by far my favorite spring pistol. Im hoping the beeman version from pyrmaid air compares. Ive had few complains w pyramid air thus far so Im sure Ill be pleased. I own currently the rws 34p, rws 54 air king, browning 800 express and hw45 black star all in .22 and all are fantastic air guns. I have no doubts that the p1 will be a great addition to the collection.

Things I liked: The fit and finish are heirloom quality!! Awesome shooter, smooth cocking and easy to load! AWESOME GUN!!!

Things I would have changed: I typically target shoot on low power..1/2 stroke..and it's very accurate now at this setting. When you go to full power..full stroke of cocking lever...it shoots much lower. Wish there was a mechanism that compensates for this at the 10 yard range without having to readjust the sights. This isn't a complaint as it a wonderful piece...I'll come up with something to aid in this!!

What others should know: If you want a VER HIGH QUALITY and very accurate gun...then spend the money and buy this heirloom piece! You won't be sorry!!

what is pyramid classifing as refurbished .

    • Tyler from USA:

A refurb Could be an item returned by a customer, could have been used for photography and/or could have been used for promotional purposes. Guns in this category may have been shot. May show evidence of handling and normal wear from use.

  • Chris from USA asked:

My friend's HW45 has glowing dots on the sights. The P1 photos don't show them. Anyone know? My friend also has the HW75... I don't like the slot sight.

    • pcp4me from USA:

My P1 does NOT have any glowing dots, and I prefer it that way!

  • William from USA asked:

I bought a Beeman P1 .20 caliber. Literature says it has 2 power levels. The manual that came with it doesn't say how to get the 2 power levels. The video says only the P1 .177 has 2 power levels. Which is correct?

    • Stanley from USA:

According to the Pick Your Option Tab all three calibers have two power levels?

    • pcp4me from USA:

AGAIN, have to back up here. Was just shooting my .20 caliber P1, and SURPRISE! It DOES have two power levels. Never noticed before, but it has a low at about 90 degrees barrel to frame angle, and high at about 165 degrees barrel to frame angle. Never noticed before because I never knew it was supposed to have two power levels! Imagine!

    • pcp4me from USA:

I have to back up here. Currently the site says the .20 caliber has TWO power levels. IF so, you cock the gun to the first click (90 degree angle to the frame) for low, and cock it to the second click (180 degree arc from cocked and locked.) for high power. If there is no click at the 90 degree point, you have only one power like my .20 P1.!

    • pcp4me from USA:

As far as I know, Stanley is correct. Only the .177 has two power levels and to me even that is superfluous! I would always use the highest power level any way. My .20 cal P1 only has one power level.

    • Stanley from USA:

Only the .177 has two power levels .
