The one piece heavy duty construction is excellent. It is easy to install and does not move when bumped, meaning scope stays zeroed.
This mount produced full lock down support on the existing ?" grooved barrels for scope mounts and compensated for "barrel droop" with strategic shim placement. Would be ideal higher caliber rifles (.22,.25 and .22 rim fire). I would highly recommend this product...
Things I Would Have Changedgreat as is -- need not change anything
What Others Should KnowUsed on two .177 air rifles -- a Gamo Bone collector (1300 fps) and Savage (1000 fps). Both have grooved barrels for scope mounts. Had tried a variety of ?" scope mounts that continually shifted on both rifles (Drove me crazy!!).
Solid piece with plenty of tight points for those none-straight dovetails.... Easy install does have a scope-stop screw under one of the rings. You cannot see this in any of the pictures.
Things I Would Have ChangedLike anyone, I find the 8 screws on the rings tedious to tighten but I don't moan when the scope sits solid as a rock if I drop my rifle.
What Others Should KnowJust be aware of the scope stop screw. This means that the unit can only be installed in one direction

So far this mount is keeping my CenterPoint scope centered and no recoil creep. It does come with a verticle stablizing screw if you should start having issues.

Seems solid and easy to assemble.
Things I Would Have ChangedTotal junk! Unless you have extremely deep dovetails, which tend to be all the same depth, this mount does not have an edge or teeth sharp enough to grab the dovetails. I tried it on 3 different airguns, Crosman, Tech 99 and Gamo and it did not work on any of them. The one-piece plate does not have a sharp enough edge to grab the dovetail and how it mates to the main mount causes it to tilt about 15 degrees to one side. Go with another mount and don't waste your time on this one. Will be returning it for a refund!
