Feinwerkbau P8X PCP 10-meter Air Pistol

This gun is so much better than I am that I'm not sure how much my review will help but I will try. First the case it comes in is great, it holds everything securely. It's handy to have all you need to shoot in one case. The gun looks great which I know is only a personal preference but I like it. It does come with a second air cylinder which is a great addition. The trigger is first rate, I have a FX Crown and a Daystate Red Wolf and the trigger is better than either of these. Completely adjustable, I have only changed the angle of the shoe a little yet but will probably work on it a little as I get more shots in with it. The grip fits great in my hand, I have moved the palm rest slightly but it balances perfectly for me. It is so much more accurate than I am, it hits the same each shot. I didn't move the sights from the setting from out of the box. This is a great gun and lots of fun to shoot.

I really can't think of anything to change on this gun. It was made to shoot small holes is paper 10 meters away. It will do that all day long in the same hole if you can hold steady.

I have not had any issues with the gun yet. I did read one review that said the transport lock that is in it when you receive the gun should be replaced in the block anytime you move the gun in the case.

Very accurate I seem to be able to shoot it better then my P44

There is an opening at the end of the bolt travel that so far I have managed to drop a number of pellets into the inside of the gun It takes a lot of shaking to get them out. The cocking mechanism is flimsy compared tp the p44 Just not up to FWB standards

this is the cream of the crop of air pistols. trigger is perfect. theres nothing I can not fault about this pistol. its a bit pricey but you truly get what you pay for. I sometimes shoot this out to 50 yards on calm days at soda cans, and if you can hold it you will never miss. crazy accurate! at 10m this is a one pistol. i have shot this over 15000 times and have never had an issue. the first shot chronys the same as the 150th shot. owned it about 2 years now. got it from PA. great guys!

it will shoot about anything you put in it very well. I personally like the rws pellets.

The trigger is excellent, even for match pistols, very crisp with negligible over travel. Trigger position is very adjustable as well. All adjustments are clearly marked. Adjustments are easy: only one allen key for almost all. Need a larger allen to loosen the grip. Windage and elevation are tool-free. Really low sight line. Being able to adjust the grip without removing it is very convenient. I really like the recoil absorber as it has helped me focus on and see the quality of my follow-through. And the absorber has been consistent w/o requiring any service. The sight canting adjustment combined with the grip adjustment make it possible to setup the hold so no tension is required to keep the sights level and lined up. Very easy dry-fire switch/safety. The regulated velocity is consistent across the pressure range with just over 200 shots per fill within the green zone on the gauge! Nice tool kit and a nicer case than Morini or Steyr.

Nothing really. That is the problem with the super high end match pistols... no tinkering required! This pistol has all the features and everything is nicely labeled. Morini lacks an absorber which isn't necessary for accuracy but helps follow through. K12 has a fixed grip. Steyr isn't as finished and trigger position isn't as adjustable. The rear sight slides on a dovetail. It would be perfect if the dovetail was 11mm to be able to mount a red dot or some other optic. But unfortunately its a bit to big.

10m AP shooting is pretty cool. Meditative actually. Or frustrating when its not going well. Need to grow the sport in the US!

Of course one will want to tune the fit of the grip after a while but that is typical. Shoot it for a while, adjust the sights and grip alignment, then adjust the grip fit for remaining deficiencies.
