Available in .22, .25, and .30 calibers, the Hatsan Blitz 777 is an excellent hunting tool that’s also a blast to shoot at the range. This full-featured Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) air rifle boasts a select fire system capable of shooting full-auto and emptying its magazine in under one second. Or, select semi-auto to make each projectile count as you land accurate shots through the 26” barrel.
It has a detachable carry handle with an integrated rear sight which, when removed, makes room for a scope. The combo 11mm dovetail/Weaver optics rail will help you push your limits as an air gunner. It feels great when shooting thanks to a telescoping buttstock, adjustable cheek riser, and rubberized pistol grip.
Bringing hours of fun to the range is the 700cc carbon fiber tank which allows for over 150 shots per fill. The .22 caliber PCP air rifle can launch pellets to a maximum velocity of 1,120 FPS with 41 FPE (25 cal is rated at 1,020 FPS with 45 FPE and 30 cal is rated at 760 FPS with 59 FPE). That’s enough power for small game hunting or a lot of fun at the range. The Blitz 777 works great with the Hatsan SwingLoad High Capacity Magazine for even more giggle-inducing automatic fire between re-loads.

Things I Would Have ChangedMake it Function. Supply a manual that is for correct model, and gives useful information. Magazine hinges up and down, as does that shelf thing under mag. Trigger adjustment. Make the top rail the same all the way and not switch to ? and then back. Be able to add moderator without having to mess with springs ,ect. Don't add a flyer in box that says "remove factory lube and replace"??? Remove from exactly where? and replace with ... what, where?
What Others Should KnowNew. Shot semi auto 5 or 6 pellets, switched to full auto 2 pellets and shes BROKEN internaly. Returned for refund . The charger for the digital gauge is directional. The handle that has the rear sight in it is plastic. If you remove the handle to mount a scope the "rail" is different under the handle. The magazine "toggles" up and down, there is a hinged shelf thing that does the same.Maybe I just had bad luck? I do not recommend.

Things I Would Have ChangedBiggest complaint is like the Hatsan Invader, the trigger has heavy pull, and in extended semi-auto shooting sessions (> 30 min), the bolt impact reverberates through the trigger and results in sore finger. Don't have this issue in any other of my air guns. The electronic pressure indicator only stays on for a seconds. Would have preferred on/off button instead of push to show current value and otherwise off.
What Others Should KnowBe prepared to deal with jams. Only ran 4 clips and had two jams. All semi-autos have this problem.

What Others Should KnowAlthough not sold as a "replica", this rifle is a dead ringer for the M-16--it is a great looking gun. Works well out of the box--no leaks, good power and shot count, highly accurate with a scope, which requires (easy) removal of the factory front and rear sights. Semi-auto action is convenient (no cocking for each shot), and the full auto action is unreal--unless you've fired an actual machine gun, this is a new and exciting experience. For the self-defense purchaser, the "scarecrow" quotient for the Blitz is off the charts: any intruder who simply see this gun will turn and run in the other direction. Guaranteed.
