Description

The official rifle of the Student Air Rifle Program, the Embark breakbarrel really ups the ante for youth airguns. Featuring a distinctive green thumbhole stock, this 5lb air rifle is easy to carry and even easier to cock. With a cocking effort of 17lbs, cocking and reloading will be a breeze for nearly anyone.

The Embark’s ergonomics make it easy to control with its raised cheekpiece and grip ridges for a solid hold. This youth shooter launches .177 pellets at speeds up to 510 fps—more than enough speed for backyard plinking and target practice. Let your young shooter learn on open sights, or give them an optical advantage by mounting a scope to the 11mm Dovetail rail.

a little heavy and hard to cock for smaller kids. front sight is off center, had to max out windage to get poa to poi.

I had the same issue. Looking closely at the muzzle with a flashlight and at the breach, I discovered that the bore is drilled off center to the barrel by a relatively large margin.

At 72 its easier to use than other break barrel I also have aR 7 this one is a lot cheaper than the R-7 It’s a nice rifle all around

After using it for a couple of weeks without being able to properly sight it and being unsuccessful with a scope I discovered through a gunsmith at my range that the barrel is bent left :(((

Was looking forward to this for my 12yr old but something went wrong in quality control at Umarex.

Read B.B.'s blogs about bending barrels. If you can get this shooting straight, it's a good rifle. Mine has an off center bore and shoots to the right. I managed to get it on target, but I am seriously considering bending the barrel a bit.
