The Umarex NXG Pump Shot BB Shotgun is a light and simple pump-action CO2 airgun designed to look like a classic shotgun. It provides velocities that reach up to 490 FPS and is ideal for novice shooters who are looking to familiarize themselves with airgun safety and those in search of plinking fun.
This airgun is powered by a single 12-gram CO2 cartridge and features a 10-round drop free rotary box magazine that enables users to get 10 shots in a row before having to reload. Although it utilizes familiar shotgun styling, it is a single-shot airgun that shoots one .177 caliber steel BB at a time when a shooter cycles the pump action and then pulls the trigger.
The synthetic stock means the airgun is lightweight and convenient even for younger shooters who may have a difficult time holding and operating a full-size airgun, and the stock is a pleasant black with a flat dark earth receiver and magazine.
Like the rest of the stock, the buttpad is plastic, and the cheekpiece is raised to provide better cheek positioning for sighting. To provide a more accurate shot and to help introduce beginning shooters to proper aiming techniques, this airgun uses a fixed front sight and a fixed notch rear sight.

Spare magnetic Magazines cheap and easy to load. Fixed sights front and back ? its a shotgun point and shoot . Fires with empty magazine so 11 to 12 shots per mag = 40 + good power shots / co2 cartridge . Triggers good, pull bang and this one shoots straight. Read manual For Drop free rotary box magazine with 10-round capacity not as easy as should be, practise a few times before showing off. 7 years old and up With Adult supervision (co2 and loading) tested. Co2 powered means stroke is easy,short,fast,and that makes for some reason very satisfying shooting. Recommended for Canadians shooting in doors (with all windows covered loud music and hammer hits between shots).
Things I would have changed:no co2 wrench storage--its plastic mould one in.
