It is easy to adjust the sight depending on the range or when in full auto. I wanted to install, on the Umarex Thompson M1A1, a red dot that can swap between two adjustments, single shot and full auto, and this red dot allows me to do so. I adjusted the elevation on zero for single shots and I use on 4 when in full auto, for a 24-25 feet distance. It is working very well and the Tdot reticle is perfect.
What Others Should KnowI noticed that some reviews have complaints about "glow around the reticle". Normally this happens because of each one eye sight and it means the shooter is needing glasses, or using a progressive glasses in the wrong position. If one has a pair of glasses for 10 feet to infinite, it eliminates the problem to put the progressive glasses in the right position. The reticle is clear.
I bought the Picatinny rail, replacing the fix rear sight, at brpguns.com, you have to use the original screws, the ones provided with the rail are for the real gun and don't fit.
Received mine today. Used Utg dovetail to picatinny adapter. They are spring loaded so they fit in the picatinny quick release making a dovetail quick release. The adapter is short so it doesn't add much height. Cool right? Well I put the battery in and the alluminator didn't work. I didn't have a red t dot and green was stuck on bright.

What Others Should KnowThis UTG sight did not come packed in a sturdy box. It came in a box to hang on a rack. It was thrown in a box with little packing. Check the sight before you mount it. I am very disappointed and upset. Pyramyd Air is becoming a disappointment.

Easy installation. Held zero for one removal and re-install. Functioned well during the day.
Things I Would Have ChangedWorthless rheostats: far too bright on lowest settings. There was barely a detectable dimming for the green.I was shooting at white 3.5" square wood blocks and before full dark I was having trouble seeing them. It will be useless for night shooting hogs unless I also use a spotlight! It is so bright the target simply disappears! Held zero during day shooting. A week later it lost zero after a dozen shots.
What Others Should KnowTest your device under the same conditions you plan to use it. This is not a good device for rifles with heavy recoil.
