Things I liked: Solid built and aligns perfectly. Some of the best Scope mounts on the market.
Things I would have changed: Nothing
What others should know: Buy them, you won't regret it..
Things I liked: In my opinion about the best rings available. Strong, good looking and great design. Add the finishing touch to your high end rig.
Things I would have changed: Would be difficult to improve on.
What others should know: I had read the reviews where one reviewer had complained that he only got one ring and the description plainly stated that. I thought, how you could you be that dumb. Guess what, I was that dumb and carelessly made the same mistake. I do not know why you would only need one ring and why they are offered that way. All other retailers that I have seen always sell them as a set of two.
Things I liked: If you want to know why everyone raves about BKL rings, view the video on some models by Paul Capello on PyramydAir's product sheet. The self-centering and 'expandable base screw' features are unique for such a value priced item. I got the single strap for my HatsanAT44-10 long QE .25 cal. because the recoil of this gun is almost nil. Had to use the expanding screw to install my UTG 3-12x44 PA-Y-5758 scope on the rifle.
Things I would have changed: Like many others have mentioned, they should sell these in pairs. Also, I would NOT order BKL rings on-line, many product descriptions are lacking the height dimension and other data. It's a safer bet the sales rep will select the proper ring for your application. The lack of data is not PA's fault, even the BKL website lacks these critical specs. And almost none of BKL's pics show the expanding base screw feature. I was thrilled to find it on this single strap ring!
What others should know: Great product, unique features, on tight fitting dovetails, leave the expanding screw in until you get the scope properly situated like I had to this rifle. And READ the instructions, you only need a small amount of pressure to expand the ring base.
