True Hunter. Doesn't that say it all?

Leapers built this scope especially for airgun hunters. They understand that airgunners have special needs and built this rifle scope so you can see clearly and sharply down to 5 yards. On top of that, they've supplied rings that have a built-in vertical scope stop.

Many scope manufacturers don't understand that spring guns have enough recoil that the scope mount can shift back ever so slightly with the pounding, harsh recoil of a piston. But Leapers understands. They put their scopes and mounts on spring guns to test their products. It's not a shot in the dark, and your gun isn't a testbed for their products. This scope and the supplied mount are tried and true, so you can be assured that your scope will work on any powerplant you have.

In case you don't know what the True Strength platform is -- it means this scope will stand up to airguns (and firearms) with the harshest recoil. Spring guns have two-way recoil that wreak havoc with ordinary scopes. But Leapers True Strength scopes laugh at two-way recoil. They're braced no matter which way the gun recoils. Or how hard it recoils.

The Webley Patriot has a reputation for breaking scopes and having the harshest two-way recoil of any springer. But a Leapers True Strength scope is the only one that didn't break when airgun writer Tom Gaylord tested it on the Patriot. It stood up to 1,000 shots. No other scope tested was able to withstand the Patriot.

So, if you want a robust scope, a hunt-ready scope, a scope for close work, a scope for distant work, a scope for any gun in your vault -- then pick up a True Strength scope. It's truly a scope for all things and all guns. No matter why you buy a scope, this one's up to it.

Things I liked: Things I like about this scope (I put it on a Benjamin Prowler 0.22 cal): 1) Easy to zero in; 2) STAYS ZEROED (which the 4x32 Center Point that came with the gun would not and which is the reason I bought another scope); 3) Cost for the value; 4) VERY clear optics; 5) The illuminated reticle when light is low or when aiming at a dark target; 6) The ability to re-zero turrets once sighted in; 7) The adjustable objective & parallax adjustment down to 5 yds.

Things I would have changed: Rear scope cap pops off after several shots. No big deal. I'll figure out how to get it to stay on better.

What others should know: Adjusting the parallax would be nicer if you could do it at the turrets (and you can if you get the right scope, costs about another $50). If I could live only being able to adjust the parallax to a minimum of 10 yds (instead of down to a minimum of 5 yds) I would have to seriously consider going with SCP3UGM312AOIEW for $150.

Things I liked: Great scope, easy to set up, easy to dial in on your target.

Things I would have changed: Nothing

What others should know: I got advice from someone that is familiar with air rifles as well as the problems I was having with other scopes I purchased. He told me this was the scope for my particular rifle and he was right. I was shopping on this site when a help box popped up. Grateful that I responded, it took all the guess work out of my research. Very happy with my purchase and the gentleman that helped me.

Things I liked: Mil Dots, flip covers, adjustment knobs, mounts!

Things I would have changed: Nothing

What others should know: Need to shoot more rounds to prove it'll hold up. Mounted on a .22cal Swarm. Scope that came (gamo) with the gun failed after 13 shots. I'm hoping that this scope stands up as advertised.

Your original rings should work . Just switch scopes.
