Things I liked: Fits my Hawke 6-24x50 AO Airmax 30 SF, 4" eye relief. It fits even better without the included install ring.

Things I would have changed: I personally set mine to rest on my eyebrow. The cup is too rigid if you plan on accordion folding to a shorter eye relief. So softer rubber for those that are afraid to cut it.

What others should know: This is a great tool for repeated alignment and sight picture. It is currently on my FX Impact which as a bullpup can be awkward in various positions. Since this replaces a dust cap i use a soft sunglass case to cover the whole boot.

Things I liked: It is nice quality, i dont understand why someone couldnt just slip it off the mount and trim it from the back to match relief. Same thing with the eyecup, all you have to do is take a sharp knife or razor or exacto, and shave the sharp mold marks off. Not hack it up, just shave the little mold marks off then take some 200-400 grit sandpaper and smooth the edges out. Lasty, if you like, you can heat up in hot water and form while soft to better fit your contours of face/brow/cheekbone

Things I would have changed: It could have a way to keep it mounted and still have some sort of dust cap. I think Im going to take a piece of schedule 40 pvc endcap, spray it black and slide it inside as dust cap. It should be made with softer rubber, perhaps no sharp mold marks, try using a supple black leather or something on the eye cup, offer in different sizes or able to adjust size, but nothing 15 minutes of time and a little ingenuity cant fix

What others should know: Nothing works better than a eyeshade for blocking things out from peripheal vision, increasing ability to focus in bright light when reflecting off eyepiece and to aid in low light and offer faster target aquisition. Its a helpful addition.

Things I liked: This eyeshade is extremely well made with thick, comfortable rubber.

Things I would have changed: It would be nice to have a version of this eyeshade with about 1.5" of eye relief, so that it actually works with UTG scopes. I have had 3 UTG scopes, and one Centerpoint scope - all of these have had an eye relief between 1" - 2". This eyepiece will only work with scopes with an extremely long eye relief.

What others should know: Make sure you have 3.5" of eye relief before you buy this.
