They shoot pretty accurately. The plastic skirt is uniform from pellet to pellet, so performance is consistent.
Things I would have changed:They’re fairly expensive. I’m sure the manufacturing is more expensive than molding lead pellets, but the performance doesn’t justify the price.
What others should know:I bought these for their supposed penetration capabilities. I tested them against Crosman destroyers, daisy wadcutters, beeman wadcutters, and daisy zinc plated bb’s. I fired them out of a daisy 880, all at 10 pumps. The penetration on a piece of oak was almost identical for every pellet. The only difference with the gamo lethal was that the plastic sleeve stopped upon entry, and only the copper core went into the wood. The depth that the copper core traveled was no deeper than any of the lead pellets, or the steel bb. The Crosman destroyer actually went the deepest by a small margin, despite deforming the most. I’ll just stick to lead pellets, they’re much cheaper and seem to offer equivalent penetration while deforming to create a bigger hole.
