The Athlon Optics Argos HMR 2-12x42 Rifle Scope with AHMC MOA reticle offers a lightweight and compact experience for multiple situations and uses. It uses a 42mm objective lens to deliver crisp and clear views for superior hunting performance, as well as a 1-inch one piece tube made from aircraft-grade aluminum for improved durability.
The scope features advanced fully-multicoated lenses that show bright and vivid colors thanks to the improved light transmission compared to competing scopes. It is shockproof, waterproof, and argon purged to yield increased fogproofing performance when measured against scopes from other manufacturers that use purging materials that react more to temperature changes.
The Athlon Optics Argos HMR 2-12x42 uses capped turrets to protect against accidental adjustments due to bumps or snags, and it has a side parallax adjustment for sharp views from 10 yards to infinity. The turrets have a 15 MOA adjustment range per revolution, with .25 MOA per click increment, and both the windage and elevation turrets adjust in a range of 80 MOA.
The AHMC SFP (Second Focal Plane) MOA reticle uses etched glass for improved visibility and has accurate measurements at the 12X magnification level. This classic hunting reticle has thick outer crosshairs leading to a thin crosshair in the middle and a floating center dot for precision. The illuminated reticle can be activated for the center dot in variable brightness levels.
