I like that the tool is available to the consumer. Not many companies do offer specialty items like this. This is one of the reasons why I love pyramid air. It really is a must-have. Really makes the job go a lot smoother. And this may be a personal thing for me but I like that it gives me the feeling/confidence that I'm doing the job right.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would add directions on how to use the tool. It seems self-explanatory. But if you're not familiar with this type of tool it can take a minute to wrap your brain around it.I was under the impression that you used the tool to apply the seals into their grooves. At the very least they could throw in some tips or hints. Like not to overstretch your seal on the cone. And although it doesn't seem like it the seal wil stretch using the cone. When I put my first seal onto the cone to stretch. My first thought was this thing's never going to stretch but they will.
What Others Should KnowFirst thing you should know is this is a two-piece tool. The first piece is a tube with a tapered hole all the way through it. It slides over the Piston rod with the small end down first. You should also know that the cone is only used to stretch the sealing rings. Not to apply them. Also it is not necessary to stretch the sealing ring from one end of the cone to the other. Just stretch it down the cone a little bit at a time. Until it's big enough to fit over the Piston rod into its groove.
