Testing has shown that filling your Marauder air rifle to no more than 2,600 psi (179 bar) may deliver the greatest accuracy. We recommend trying different fill levels between 2000 and 3000 psi to determine the optimum fill level for your own rifle. Each gun is different. A chronograph is the best way to determine optimum fill levels for precharged pneumatics (PCPs).

The owner's manual states this about fill pressures:
"The Marauder has been factory set to an efficient fill pressure that will suit most hunting and target uses."

very happy with my marauder 22 cal. very accurate with 6 types of pellets i have tried , it is very quiet i like that . i refinished the stock with tung oil it really looks nice very happy

Accuracy is really good. (Dime size hole at 20 yards)
Things I would have changed:A little bit heavy. Did have a few failures of the magazine to advance, so fed no pellet. Probably magazine related.
What others should know:Very happy, and my triceps are getting a major workout with this hand pump!! BUY THE COMPRESSOR!!!

Why is the newest review almost 2 years old from today, April-28, 2023 ?
Is it possible to convert a .22 marauder to a .25 marauder with just a barrel replacement or would other parts need to be swapped out as well?
The scope in the picture of the .177 LW version is mounted way high. Is there a reason for that? Thank you, Wes

The balance is very good. The optics are reasonable and good enough for my use, and the provided rings are perfect for this configuration.

What others should know:This is my first PCP after 40 years of break-barrel shooting. I spent at least 100 hours of research on all of the available brands and their varying qualities. As far as visual appeal, all the buyer has to go on without visiting a store, are the pictures. Every illustration of the Marauder shows a rifle that has a nice semi-gloss finish on it, similar to a quality center-fire hunting rifle. When I received the .25 caliber Marauder, I was EXTREMELY disappointed to find a bare wood stock with a fairly rough sanded finish...not even a recognizable stain. I am on my third coat of Tongue oil and, not being a wood-working hobbyist, I'm afraid it's not coming out that well and I'll be left with a junior high school shop-class looking rifle.
