Description
Most, if not all, replaceable blade knives share the same common failings. Their blades are thin, narrow, brittle and puny! And if they fold their locking mechanisms are egregiously weak! Now Cold Steel introduces a folding knife with 1.5 mm thick interchangeable blades and has the value of a sufficiently strong locking mechanism. Like our Click-N-Cut knives, it incorporates elements of our strong Tri-Ad lock for superior strength. It comes with a drop point blade and a serrated utility blade. Both blades can be re-sharpened with little effort or discarded and easily replaced. Installing or changing a blade is simple. With the blade open, just depress the lock bar and fold the blade down about 70 and slide it out. Click in a new blade and you're back in business! Simple, economical, and astoundingly practical!

Nice blade.. very well-made it is a little tricky to swap out the blades so you need to play with it. Blades are thick and sturdy. well worth the money.
I think everyone who calls themselves a knife guy should have the filder and the fixed blade. Also, the blades are NOT skinny, useless razor blades. These are substantial, thick, normal blades. So dont be put off by them having replacement blades. The way i do it, is to use the knife and sharpen or correct the blade on the stone as long as there is no deformation. If the blade is too damaged, thats when it is time to grab a replacement m! I webt ahead and bought 9 blades in addition to what comes with the initial purchase. Suggest everyone do this while supplies last. The price for these knives is actually too low, so if you want this orice, bow is the time to act. Cold Steel WILL rais3 the price on this setup. Mark my words! Fantastic knife! Absolutely recommend!

Great work knife. I ordered two. Gave both out as gifts. Friend really wanted "mine" holidays. Only 2 minor gripes would be hopefully more blade designs for folder and maybe grivex material for the handle.

I really like this knife as, hard to beat as an utility knife. I'd buy again, and I recommend this product to anyone. What I'd see as a future improvement: more variations of replacement blades. For example: hawk blade, skinning blade, wood carving blade, saw blade, chisel blade, etc. Actually, I'd see this knife in a more premium version as well. More premium (rubberized) handle, lanyard option, deep carry pocket clip, Jimpings on the handle, stonewashed blades with much more premium materials. (M390 blade on this and I'll never touch any other utility knife...) I'd pay much more for such a knife. Anyhow, this knife is a true gem as it is at this price point, and I love it.

The blades are great. The construction is solid with the tri-ad style lock. I just tore through a metal can of cat food with the serrated blade like a hot knife through butter. The blade is still useable and the serrations are fine. The puncture and cut was solid and I didnt have a concern about the knife folding up and cutting through my fingers.
