This rifle has adequate power and feels good in your hands. Not too heavy and very comfortable to hold. Cocking effort is almost nothing. Trigger on my rifle had no first stage ant a lot of creep, was quite dangerous since you did not know when it would fire however that can be adjusted out.

Its awkward to push in the safety when ready to shoot since you have to take your thumb out completely from the hole. Redesign a dove tail groove at the back end so that the last stopper hole can be useable. The dove tail groove is not uniform in the last section so the mounts can not be installed using the last hole!!! The groove should be continued to the end like on the weihrauchs or Beemans.

The stock feels kid of cheap in your hands but its ok, accuracy makes up for it.

This is a superbly elegant rifle. It simply shouts German quality, from its real knurled steel safety to the overall buttery smoothness. It cocks easily. The trigger is crisp, and can be set frighteningly light, if that is your preference. It sends things downrange at a healthy clip, but not so quickly that it becomes a pellet snob. The stock just fits and is very comfortable to shoot over.

An adjustable cheek piece a la higher priced Hatsan would be a treat.

Diana doesn't try to win the game by posting up big specs. They offer an accurate, well-made rifle that is a treat to shoot because everything works in harmony.

Oh my goodness where to start! This is an ENTRY level rifle!? This is the bees knees! I cannot believe how much you get for the price! As a convert from firearms; $350 is nothing for a rifle; but the quality on the Diana 34 is astounding! The trigger snaps like a glass rod, the cocking requires some strength but is very fluid and smooth; breech pops open with gusto and you can hear a nice pop so you know you have a good seal which I dont get on my other airguns; accuracy is there this thing goes where you point it; even shot off hand at 25 yards and couldnt believe the results! If you are on the fence about this rifle; get it before everyone else finds out and they sell out. Excellent product Diana and thank you Pyramyd Air for distributing!

So the optics rail according to the literature in the physical manual is really 12mm? Make sure you have a clamp style set of rings or a rail because your one piece 11mm will not fit (such as BKL industries with the spreader style dovetail mounts) as the will not fit and trust me you cant widen them without running the mount! There are stop pin holes in the receiver but you will have to make sure you dont extend too far as the tap holes are straight into the receiver; but if you choose iron sights only you do get a nifty set of cover plates which is a nice thought! Try your rifle out first to investigate whether or not barrel droop is an issue; they give you a set of shims to install to correct any issues and the UTG drooper rail; my sample didnt appear to have any droop though? Again just give it some testing and utilize the solution best for your gun. I do still wish there was a positive stop in the receiver recessed for a stop pin; estimating the depth of your pin is worrying work!

You will love this rifle; cost seems to be a concern with this level of air gun but you can use Pyramyd Airs wonderful Affirm financing and get a quality rifle! With a Diana ; you arent experimenting with the bargain quality hoping to find a gem; rest assured this is a great product! I got the .177 and shot 7.4s through 10.88s using Crosman Premiers, H&N Target Trophy and Barracuda and they all grouped well; preference for heavier loads it seems, but good enough accuracy in my use with a variety of loads which is great; you wont regret this rifle!
