To load the gun, break it open between the back of the barrel & the front of the cylinder. Instead of loading pellets directly into the wheel, you pop in a preloaded circular clip. Close it up and start shooting!
Steel BBs can ricochet. Everyone in the area should wear safety glasses. Remember to remove all pets from the shooting range. To minimize ricochet, do not shoot steel BBs at hard objects or water.
Ten-shot pellet repeater, 6-rd BB repeater, real revolver mechanism, single- or double-action: This gun looks like the Colt Python and shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger. Powered by a CO2 cartridge, the Crosman Vigilante has a 6" rifled steel barrel. The molded combat grips have finger grooves for added control. It's so realistic, your friends will have a hard time telling the difference between this and a firearm.
The rear sight is fully adjustable, but feel free to add a laser or flashlight on the Weaver accessory rail. This is a great gun for shooting tin cans, plinking, hitting spinners and more. It's an all-day shooter, so stock up on ammo and CO2!

Things I liked: The pistol is very powerful and very durable for its price.I love this for target shooting and small animals like rats, mice, chipmunks, squirrels, etc. It is very fun to shoot and very easy to shoot.I also love the fact that it shoots bbs and pellets.
Things I would have changed: Make it more like a real revolver to where it does not have rotary clips it has a cylinder.
Things I liked: Rifle barrel has excellent accuracy with pellets, particularly the Crosman Premier pellets. The sights are adjustable. We are easily able to sight in from 10 meters to 20 meters depending on the application. Speedloaders (extra cylinder magazines) are available. It is relatively efficient with CO2, running about 40 shots per cartridge with velocity dropping after 30. The single action trigger pull is excellent and double action works as it should.
Things I would have changed: The grips are kind of large. The finger grooves are not necessary. The old Crosman model with the wood-tone faux checkered grips was somewhat more comfortable for everyone in our group. The trade off is that with the old style grips the CO2 piercing lever was exposed. With these new style grips it is concealed within the grips. You have to remove both grips to work the CO2 on these, where the old one just required removing the left grip.
What others should know: We have a chronograph. Using the Crosman Premier HP pellets at 33 feet we got an average of 411 fps from shot 1 - 9, 402 fps from shot 10-14, 399 fps from shot 15-21 and 364 fps from shot 22-30. There was about 10 more shots that would go downrange and hit the target backboard but they were each totally different in velocity and point of impact so I did not include them. I do not like to shoot BB's in a rifle barrel but tried one clip full. The velocity was less than the pellets, I suppose from blow-by. I also tried H&N Smart Shot. These were not consistent for accuracy. Overall, this is a great revolver for the price and the pellet capacity has been increased from the old model. More pellets - more fun!
Things I liked: Easy to use, good hefty weight.
Things I would have changed: Better front sight, preferably fiber optic.
What others should know: The safety is a little tempermental, might just be mine but sometimes it gets a little stuck.

i have a couple questions about the vigilante gun: 1) this gun should mount a rifled barrel, but when i watch inside the hole i just see a simple smooth barrel !!! why? 2) if i push on the muzzle the steel barrel can move upward and forward inside the gun ..its normal? should the barrel move like that?
1 Mine has a nicely rifled barrel. Double check. If yours is truly a smooth bore, something is wrong. 2) Yes - the barrel moves a little to accommodate the magazines and pellets. These loosely fitting parts may not instill a lot of confidence, but it actually works great! I suggest you just try it, and you'llsee it works well.
can send it to mexico ? It would be better if they answered Spanish
How much psi runs through it per shoot
