To load the gun, break it open between the back of the barrel & the front of the cylinder. Instead of loading pellets directly into the wheel, you pop in a preloaded circular clip. Close it up and start shooting!
Steel BBs can ricochet. Everyone in the area should wear safety glasses. Remember to remove all pets from the shooting range. To minimize ricochet, do not shoot steel BBs at hard objects or water.
Ten-shot pellet repeater, 6-rd BB repeater, real revolver mechanism, single- or double-action: This gun looks like the Colt Python and shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger. Powered by a CO2 cartridge, the Crosman Vigilante has a 6" rifled steel barrel. The molded combat grips have finger grooves for added control. It's so realistic, your friends will have a hard time telling the difference between this and a firearm.
The rear sight is fully adjustable, but feel free to add a laser or flashlight on the Weaver accessory rail. This is a great gun for shooting tin cans, plinking, hitting spinners and more. It's an all-day shooter, so stock up on ammo and CO2!

Things I liked: Price, you cant beat it. Its real fun to shoot not sure if it would actually kill a rat which is why I purchased the Vigilante. Accuracy not really there it maybe me Im still getting used to action.
Things I would have changed: The barrel was to short left a gap between breach and mag a lot of blow out. Shimed the barrel to close the gap. Im sure this improved the FPS.
What others should know: Other than the poor fitting barrel this gun is great just know that for the money your getting a well built gun.
Things I liked: I got this last year for Christmas and i have put about 750 bbs and 500 pellets, I like the gamo red fire, the gamo tomohawk pellets i get 1.00" to 1.75" groups at 7 yards, It is so far my first and only co2 airgun and my second favorite airgun next to my daisy powerline 880 shadow with a winchester 4x32 AO rifle scope, which likes the same pellets. Any ways i love my crosman vigilante you could possibly kill a rabbit with a head shot 5-10 yards but i have so far only used as a plinker great job crosman.
Things I would have changed: Nothing except make it in .22 as well
What others should know: You should buy this gun and that it is kind of loud when you first put in a co2 cartridge
Things I liked: Well balanced, easy to load both co2 and pellets. Single action let-off is not bad. Bought this to replace my aging 357. The Vigilante is better. You can't go wrong with a $49 purchase!
Things I would have changed: Demark the sights with front post green and rear notch red. I did it by painting with Testor's model paints. Made a big difference for acquiring bull's eye on targets!
What others should know: If you shoot BB's you'll wreck the rifling. They'll also bounce back at you with the same fps you shot at. Lead won't do that.

So every time I put a co2 in my pistol it just leaks out right away like I screw it in and ten seconds later no air
I own a Crosman Vigilante revolver. Where can I purchase a new set of hand grips? Don from USA
Can i mount any kind of red dot scope on this
You would need one that will fit the picatinny slot on the top of the pistol. UTG makes a few that use a single slot picatinny mount. I like this one: UTG 1x30mm Compact ITA Red/Green...
