Air Venturi Air Bolt, 6 pack
The Air Bolt by Air Venturi is a revolutionary, patent-pending ammunition system that transforms your .50 caliber PCP air rifle into a powerful archery tool!
Use the 430 grain carbon fiber Air Bolt in any .50 caliber precharged pneumatic rifle with a barrel of 22 inches or longer, and enjoy an entirely new experience with your airgun. You'll be amazed at the accuracy and power the Air Bolt delivers to your quarry.
Large game? Yes! With velocities up to 500 fps and knockdown power exceeding 230 foot pounds of energy (in Sam Yang Dragon Claw), trophy-sized big game is well within the capabilities of this innovative projectile.
Of course the next question is, how tight are the groups? You'll have to be careful not to 'Robin Hood' the Air Bolts! During our tests, we found typical groups are 1 inch at 30 yards.
Each arrow comes with a 100 grain Field Tip. The inserts on each bolt are threaded to accept standard broadheads, for the ultimate hunting experience.

Tech Tip: We recommend using the Big Shot Extreme 500 target with the Air Bolt. We have tested many targets with the Air Bolt and have found the Big Shot to be the most effective in stopping the Bolt. Take extra care if you are using a different target with the Air Bolt and make sure it is rated to stop up to 500 FPS.
Tech Tip for Hunters: While you can use fixed blade or mechanical broadheads on the Air Bolts, we recommend mechanical broadheads for better accuracy.

Things I liked: Shoots straight and fast and hits like a boss out of my Dragon Claw.
Things I would have changed: One of two things I would like to see changed. When target shooting one of the things you have to worry about is hitting the nock. The airbolt out of my dragon claw can and will robin hood arrow to arrow very easily. Now, with that said and making sure you are not aiming to put arrow in arrow even if you put one arrow next to another with a small gap in between, what you have to worry with is the field tip hitting the aluminum outsert on the previous arrow. I called and spoke with Air Venturi/Pyramyd Air and was told I could not buy the aluminum outsert like I can the nocks. This means that if I want to fix my aluminum outsert on the field tip/broadhead end I would have to spend another 100 bucks for 6 more arrows which in my mind is really asinine. Now in all honesty I would prefer to give Pyramyd air or Air venturi my money but since I got cut off in even trying to discuss this with them I will just go talk to some friends that own a metal lathe and get my own made and give them my $
What others should know: Make sure that you do not shoot the arrows close enough to where the field tip or broadhead will hit or graze the aluminum outsert. The first time you do it will goober up your outsert the very first hit. Air Venturi will not sell you that part to fix your bolt. You can buy the nocks all day long but not the aluminum outsert on the other end where the tip goes. I would suggest taking one of the good outserts to a person that has a metal lathe and have them cut you a few to stick away just in case such an incident happens and it will happen if you are shooting for bullseye on each shot unless you go and remove each bolt before you take the next shot.
Things I liked: came as advertised outstanding performance
Things I liked: Holy Crap! these things are amazing! Crazy fast and accurate out of my Dragon Claw!
Things I would have changed: A little on the pricey side, Would like to be able to buy the centering bushing separate, as I've lost a couple trying to get them out of the target. Once they're in the target, they play hell coming out
What others should know: Finding a target that will stop them and not wreck them is really a problem. I did find a target to stop them... Have not been able to get the arrows pulled free yet!

What are the diameter of the arrows?
Will these work in a.510 dia. Barrel?
The ones in .50 cal have knocks in the back of the arrow that are basically .50, with o-ring pushing them slightly higher than that diameter.
what type of broadhead would you recamend
I've heard good things about Thorn broadheads and Innerloc shape shifter broadheads
When will these be in stock? Ive noticed that it has a revolving date.
Shooting for end of March
