Things I liked: The spread on the #8 shot is perfect for close range hunting. Out to 20 yards I was boasting a 10" spread and at 35 yards it was nearly 12" spread. Perfect for up close shots without ruining your prey.
Things I would have changed: There is only one source for these so you have to take the hit, but the price is ridiculous. One of the "perks" of hunting with an airgun vs a firearm was cheaper ammunition, guns, etc. Air Venturi made sure that no longer applies. The WingShot is significantly more expensive than most single-shot shotguns and the ammunition is more than double the price of 12 ga shells. I also think the diameter of the shell should be enlarged slightly. Most of the shells tend to slide back out after loading (when raising the muzzle to aim). I have to seat the shotshells with my pinky.
What others should know: Don't forget to get some chokes. Without either choke, the values listed above do not apply. And go ahead and order a second box of shotshells. Once you have a reliable air source to keep your PCP full, one box won't be enough.
Things I liked: look impressive
Things I would have changed: nothing
What others should know: never got chance to use

Are these steel or lead? And if they are steel, can i buy regular steel shot used for shotguns to refill the empty shotshell cases? Lead is illegal to use on migratory birds and small game birds where I am from.
Lead shot. You can buy the empty shells Air Venturi Empty Larger Shotshells,... and fill them with whatever you like
I have the Air Force Texan 50 Cal I purchased two years ago, can these be shot out of this Air Rifle ?
1) Where did you get a 50 cal Texan? 2) Not without some form of choke or device on the end of the barrel to break the shell apart as it exits the muzzle.
Can these be fired through the 50 cal Dragon claw
Yes, but I wouldn't recommend it.
