These 23 gr slugs shoot very well in my FX Maverick Sniper. Just as well as pellets, maybe a little better. Regs set at 190/145
Things I Would Have ChangedFedEx delivery is very slow.
These are great for high powered air rifles! I'm pushing them @ 820 fps & they shoot very flat.. They are actually shorter than I thought they would be & chamber butter smooth. Very accurate! but it takes a few shots to distribute the wax from the slug evenly in the bore before they start showing there true potential..
Things I Would Have ChangedThe price! These are ridiculously high IMO..
What Others Should KnowIf you can push these to 800 fps or above, they shoot flat & pack a heck of alot of energy due mostly to there weight & very high B.C..

Excellent bc for their size and very consistent and accurate in my .22 500mm FX Impact MkII. I am pushing them to 985fps with little strain on the gun and they hit hard out past 100 yards. They "expand" well in that, at that speed, they blow the nose off and the remained 2/3 of the shank continues to penetrate. This means that they effectively penetrate well enough to take larger game (fox, racoon, beaver) and still get good pass through which drop blood pressure faster. Well done H&N!

What Others Should KnowEven though they are light, when you push them to about 50ft-lbs, they carry well and hit hard. Started at 50 ft-lbs, these are still carry 27ft-lbs at 200 yards.
