Barra 250z PCP Air Rifle

Powerful and very accurate. The quality of the rifle for the price is exceptional The picatinny mount is solid and with good length for scope mounting. The m-lock mounts on bottom and sides are much appreciated. Really like the magazines.

Waited a long time for the camo version to get back in stock. Defiantly was worth the wait. Hits steel hard at 50 yds and holds tight groups with slugs and pellets right out of the box. One thing I found is the the dust plug I had bought for my Stormrider fits the 250z's fill port and will stay in place under recoil. Might help those worried about debris in the field.

This is one of the nicest PCP rifles I own! spot on accuracy with the great design of air tank around the barrel is just forward thinking. The 10 clip rotational pellet insert (.22) is such a great low profile design, makes it easy to add a new round without effort. The gun is also pretty light for the power it provides! Real Happy with quality and price!

Exceptionally accurate! Multiple brands and weights of ammo work well. Love the balance, feel, and trigger...fantastic trigger. Out of the box shoots 27 to 28 grain pellets at about 900ish fps. All in all, very impressed with this at this price point. Rating deduction because gun has terrible flaw; the bolt goes too far back. Bolt goes back far enough to let the pellet drop into the chamber in front of the hammer. If not noticed, hammer will mash pellet. If noticed, you have to remove the stock to get dropped pellet out. To remove stock you have to remove safety. Not overly difficult but do it a few times; you'll see. Manual is beyond useless... actually mentions dismantling breech for this issue yet gives no indication of how to do such. Had to google disassembly.

Extremely accurate! Well constructed and very comfortable to shoot.

Accuracy. Weight. Ease of use. Finish. This thing is a tack driver out of the box. I haven’t moved out beyond 50 yards yet, but at the close in ranges it is rivaling my much more expensive rifles (Skout, FX, Brocock) in accuracy. Mine is in .25 since most of my other rifles are that caliber.

Resistance of bolt as you cock the rifle is high.

Fabulous price point using crow magnum accuracy is spot on at 25 yards and I have not spent the time to stretch out any further assembly is well built lightweight. I think a little tuning of reg pressure will be required but they make this one easy to tune.

There is only 1 thing I would really love to see change on this unit and that is to offer it with a nice real wood stock. Drop back to the old days and let see it sitting comfortably nestled in a beautiful wooden stock. Nothing else to change. Except .30 cal would be real nice 2

The Barra 250z is an impressive air rifle overall—accurate, powerful, and feels great in hand. Build quality is solid, and the performance right out of the box is top-tier for its price range. It's clear a lot of thought went into the design and ergonomics. That said, I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it doesn't come with some important tools. There's no tool included to depressurize the valve, nothing for adjusting the regulator, and no tool to remove the stock. For a rifle in this category, I expected at least basic tools or guidance for those tasks. It's a bit of an oversight, especially for users who like to fine-tune or do basic maintenance on their gear. If you're okay sourcing a few tools separately, the 250z is still a great buy. Just be aware that it's not entirely plug-and-play if you plan on making adjustments.

The barrel in the air reservoir. The light weight. The power. This thing can throw heavy slugs very accurately at goo velocity.

A larger air reservoir bigger in diameter would be great.

If I his is your first PCP air rifle, try to top off the air every magazine change if you’re using a hand pump. It makes the experience more enjoyable. I would recommend this to someone who already owns a bottle or compressor.

Gun function well but still dialing in. Mag azines for hard to load compared to most.
