Own the backyard range with the Crosman Valiant SBD. This silenced breakbarrel makes for an ideal choice for a backyard friendly breakbarrel for blasting targets, and dispatching pests. Loaded with Crosman’s latest technology, the Valiant sports a hardwood thumbhole stock, and makes use of an improved Silencing Barrel Device (SBD)–an innovative suppressor design that keeps its shots 3x quieter than other breakbarrels in its class. The SBD feature certainly comes in handy at quieting the powerful Nitro Piston Elite powerplant. This lethal gas-piston is specially designed to provide shooters with 15% more speed, 35% more power, and 2x the accuracy of standard gas pistons. This improved power system translates to up to 23 FPE in .177 caliber, and 29 FPE of muzzle energy in .22.
Release all this energy with a pull of the Clean Break Trigger (CBT), a 2-stage adjustable that can be customized to your preferred pull. Once locked and loaded, you can expect lead pellet velocities from you can expect lead velocities up to 1150 fps in .177, and 950 in .22.
The Valiant includes a CenterPoint 4x32 scope for mounting to its 11mm Dovetail rail. For those who want to get started shooting immediately, the Valiant also includes open sights with a fully adjustable rear sight.
If you want an easy to use shooter that keeps the shots high-powered and quiet, choose the Valiant for hours of backyard plinking fun.

Great gun, works well. Great for squirrels.
Things I would have changed:Do not pay to have scope mounted or zero. As its easy and you will pay and not receive the service. this is a money grab.
What others should know:Quality stock for larger shooter

With JSB 15.89 Hades, 25 yards produced nickle size groups at 35 yards it produced quarter size groups. I could not get CP 14.3 to group well and I got a lot of fliers from them.
Things I would have changed:ut actual FPS figures on the web site description. I was getting 760FPS with JSB 15.89 Hades and 806FPS with the 14.3 grain Crosman Premire pellets in .22. The box states 1100 FPS in .22 with super light pellets. I was expecting at least 860fps with CP 14.3gr. I purchaced this gun for 50 plus yards hunting but at 50 yards the pellet is headed to the ground fast. I figured the muzzle FPE to be 20FPE.
What others should know:This is a good gun for under 40 yards for pest control. The trigger has a 4.3 pound pull which can hinder accuricy but using the artillary hold can be tamed down.

made is usa?
Is there another stock that would work on this gun. I am NOT a fan of thumb hole stocks.
Can a bipod be attached to it? And if yes which one is recommended?
The only one I suggest is the clip-on Ramline which is pretty cheap, like $15? You normally clamp it at the tapered part at the aft end of the barrel but here I'm not sure it'll fit. The drawback is you have to deal with it when cocking. Imo it's better to have something to set the gun on vs attaching to the gun.
No. The bipod can not be mounted to the shroud. It can not be mounted to the stock. The wood is too thin.
