I recently tried the ZAN Projectiles Slug Sampler in .177 and am thoroughly impressed! These slugs perform exceptionally well in my Benjamin Marauder, with tight groupings that highlight their precision and consistency. They feed smoothly into the magazine and barrel, showcasing ZAN's thoughtful design for compatibility. One standout feature is their ability to expand like true hollow points, even with a mild rifle tune. At 20 gr and just 760 FPS, they deliver excellent performance and expansion, making them perfect for small game hunting or pest control. Highly recommended!
Things I Would Have ChangedMy only suggestion for improvement would be offering a larger sampler pack to test different sizes more thoroughly, with pricing that aligns more closely with buying specific slug sizes in bulk.
What Others Should KnowTested on the unregulated, factory barrel of the Benjamin Marauder in .177, it performed exceptionally well. 10 gr @ 1066 fps 13 gr @ 965.6 16 gr @ 885.2 20 gr @ 761.8
